Can you make the notification for "Permit Choice Ready" not show up until one is actually able to select a permit?
Seanbeag 25 Oct, 2022 @ 12:28pm
Ah right. Thought it was a bug because I'm getting the notification to choose a permit.
Hex  [author] 25 Oct, 2022 @ 12:24pm
@Seanbeag Correct. It's kinda like being famous, but no one cares. I tried to balance is a little bit around starting colonies. It was way too easy to get a title upon starting a new colony, and basically eliminated some of the initial difficulty. This way you get the first promotion pretty fast and now have extra points to spend, and keep that hint of new colony difficulty.
Seanbeag 25 Oct, 2022 @ 11:49am
No permits can be chosen for first title?
icedknife 24 Oct, 2022 @ 3:45pm
TY!!:fomtlaugh:

@Icedknife And done :tgrin:
icedknife 24 Oct, 2022 @ 1:18pm
great mod!! any chance of 1.4 update?
Hex  [author] 22 May, 2022 @ 8:18pm
@whitespacekilla - Yeah, hence the disclaimer. I threw this together back in 2020 because there were no other options for what this mod does. As for how compatible it is, it worked fine for me and my over-modded game with no issues. Rather than talk about hypothetical incompatibilities to advertise another mod, maybe try to be helpful for other people and say "'X' mod wont work", or "This will make mods with 'Y' kill your garden." Help me help you, to help others.
whitespacekilla 22 May, 2022 @ 5:09pm
This mod overwrites the base game royal titles instead of patching them. As is, I would expect incompatibilities with any other permit mods and probably even requirement and apparel incompatibilities. It also eliminates a few 1.3 additions to the royal title definitions. I recommend "More Permits" instead.

@Lollri - I have no idea what that drop is. I don't think it's part of my mod, or even the base game. Are you referring to the commented out code? If so, I dropped that for balance/tweaks/todo, but I don't know if I will ever get to it. :steambored:

Thanks for the update, mate.
MushiSushi 10 Aug, 2021 @ 5:29pm
thanks for update :D
Hex  [author] 7 Aug, 2021 @ 8:18pm
1.3 update... maybe? The usual disclaimer of damage, doom, and destruction applies.
Hex  [author] 23 Jul, 2021 @ 11:40pm
Hopefully. I just started a new job at a lab and have very little free time. :winter2019tiredyul::winter2019sadyul: I haven't even been able to play around with all the new stuff myself. I will try soon, I hope. Sorry for any inconvenience, in the mean time.
Highlandman 23 Jul, 2021 @ 9:54pm
Good day. Will this mod be updated to 1.3 patch?
Santa 20 Jun, 2021 @ 12:34am
hey your mod is great as it is :) hope you can improve at coding in the future
Hex  [author] 21 Mar, 2021 @ 7:08am
@HRNao I am sorry, but I'm not skilled at coding. I wish I had the time and skill to make this better, but it is kind of "as is" for now.
MushiSushi 20 Mar, 2021 @ 4:23pm
Are you able to make a mod settings page so we can customize how many permits we get?
Hex  [author] 20 Mar, 2021 @ 5:07am
@NTP That is beyond my skills.
Hyperion 14 Jan, 2021 @ 12:22am
can you make a quest to earn permits without effect to the title just like honor
MushiSushi 28 Nov, 2020 @ 5:47pm
does this work with existing saves?
icedknife 24 Nov, 2020 @ 12:23pm
Hello, ur mod doing great and I love it, also I wondering if it's possible to add a drop of Healer mech serum
WillowTheWisp 22 Nov, 2020 @ 3:16pm
I figured it out, not your fault like you said! Thanks for responding!
Hex  [author] 21 Nov, 2020 @ 3:20pm
@Willow - I don't think neuroformers is mine, sorry.
WillowTheWisp 18 Nov, 2020 @ 11:46am
Did you add a neuroformers permit? Because if so, I think it's blocking access to the transport shuttle permit.
icedknife 14 Nov, 2020 @ 11:26pm
dude u know what, this is exactly what I want!Thx a lot !!Great job :chocola:
Rovalen 25 Sep, 2020 @ 9:34am
You can try noparse tag if you really need the brackets
Hex  [author] 25 Sep, 2020 @ 9:31am
Yeah, added () around the link. Forgot that it will be read with the link. Sorry.
Rovalen 25 Sep, 2020 @ 9:30am
Now works alright, thanks
Rovalen 25 Sep, 2020 @ 9:27am
The link is kinda bugged
Hex  [author] 25 Sep, 2020 @ 8:10am
Also thanks for the kind words!
Hex  [author] 25 Sep, 2020 @ 8:08am
@Rovalen Thanks for the info. Gonna look up x-path patching now.
Rovalen 25 Sep, 2020 @ 8:08am
Apart from that, nice mod, nice pic and funny (although a bit too pessimistic) description. Thank you Hex!
Rovalen 25 Sep, 2020 @ 8:06am
Well, actually, despite this mod doesn't use x-path patching, it could be pretty much compatible with any other mod that modifies permits and titles as long as it USES x-path patches. Otherwise, if the mod just overwrites vanilla, it will be incompatible
Rovalen 25 Sep, 2020 @ 8:01am
Damn, Tynan surely goes wild with balancing issues... Back then, when there was an authority system I made my first mod just like you: because I was bored and annoyed...

Also, I believe this mod is written well enough not to break all the terrible things starting from the game onwards :)

Furthermore, I doubt that it's so incompatible with other similar mods, so I'll check out xmls and see if it's really that bad
