Deleted my previous comment because it had false information that I just realized was wrong now.

alright, fine. I was curious myself, so I went into dev mode and gave a guy all enigmatic bionics from SNS, giving him at least 1000 health total. Then, I let another colonist beat the shit out of him with a club 100 times.

As you can see, he's not dead. His "health" went down to 5% after about 20 bruises and then stayed there for the rest of the time; clearly the health percentage is based on vanilla rimworld death threshold. His torso was at 103/280 condition. I don't even need to mention the rest of the damage; this is already much past the vanilla instant death threshold of 150 damage.
PSA: this mod still works fine in 1.3.
@Golaneth
Bruises; the deadliest thing known to man. Get enough bruises and you spontaneously drop dead.
may i assume that all one need to do next time to update the version of RW mod files, assuming there are no incompatibilities are just to amend that part?
you can make your mod show to support multiple versions by going to your about.xml file and changing the line
<supportedVersions><li>1.2</li></supportedVersions>
to
<supportedVersions>
<li>1.2</li>
<li>1.3</li>
</supportedVersions>
Cool!
