I do got the DLC installed but not the mod. I was aware of the second mod for DLC and was trying to see in file how to remove torso, DevMode but couldn't find it. I just resolve by deleting the character, as he's the only one affected. I don't mind a reset character but thank you for the help! Hopefully someone else can use your advice to help resolve their similar bug. <3

Last thing I can think of is the game does not normally add the wolf torso, so disabling the mod could be breaking the character in the sense where the base game doesn't know how to properly handle the wolf torso. In that case I recommend going into debug mode to remove the torso, but there is more needed to do than just that since it may leave you with no torso at all. IIRC it can be fixed and I just can't remember the full list of things you need to remove/add besides the torso itself. You should be able to easily find info on how to set up the game to run in debug mode.
I hope any of this has helped.

I haven't played in a long time myself, but do you have the DLC add on installed that I made?
Link is on the bottom of this page or just look at my workshop postings. You could also keep the mod installed and just not use the full wolf skins. It's built in a way so you can decide if you want the torso skin on a character. However you will still have the stat boost the piece gives.
Yes it does! I also have an addition to this one which does something similar with the scruff skin for said cosmetic DLC. It's built as an addon to this mod so you'd need this mod as it's required for my scruff DLC mod. Will add the link to this mod's description.
And a general note here for anyone reading, I hear the request(s) for additional skins. Specifically in regards to the DLC skins I didn't touch being scrag and sage. I'm truly sorry to say there are no plans to expand to those ones right now. I can't even say when there will be. I do admittedly often think of coming back to expand either this mod to fulfill said requests or make a new one (Likely additional events for Wolftouched).
At the very least, know I'm not dead! Life is a ride built by insanity, but know I'll respond to questions that I have a clear helpful answer for versus requests etc.
Hello! Is the mod enabled? You could also try seeing if there is conflict with another mod and if so definitely let me know. Lastly, by theme settings are you perhaps referring to the DLC options? I'm aware the provided screenshot on this page shows that. Those being the scruff, scrag, and sage options.
There is a chance that current characters with wolf torsos may look out of whack when I update this. As it will be a theme skin option now, simply choose the selected skin and your furry body should be back to what it was! And again, you can now equip armor so be sure to give them armor when the chance comes.
You could keep the healing ability since you are a whole dang werewolf
@Ketrai I'm so sorry for how late this is! I do my best to keep up to date, and sometimes I miss things such as your comment. I really appreciate the offer so if you want to help and even add to the mod in that manner, shoot me a friend invite so we can discuss it.
@OwnedSphinx It heals and by that I mean temporary hit points. That's how all the healing done in game has been at least by players end of things so I wasn't going to change that. I literally did make it work similar to the Aid skill so as to retain the game's concept of healing. Besides, a rallying howl can't actually mend wounds, but it can certainly inspire friends to fight on beyond their limits!
There's some exciting things coming to Wildermyth soon! This mod will certainly be updated when 1.0 hits. The update for compatibility for 1.0 won't be up moment of release, but I'll try to get it out some time during the day of! In other news, I'll admit to being bothered that I couldn't work the neck layer to only show when the character didn't have the wolf torso. Now with the update I just published you can have the neck layer! It also only shows when you do not have the wolf torso! I find it brilliant personally. Please let me know if there are any issues. And lastly, you will have issues when 1.0 hits. I don't recommend using this mod if you are going to try out the test update. Like I said, those issues shouldn't last long on official launch day where I'll have an update ready to get it compatible no matter how small. Till then!
@Masier22 - That be interesting...I don't think there is any existing system for that though or am I wrong? Then again, I plan on nerfing the stats here since the more I've thought about it the more I realized it is pretty OP.
@Syrris - Perhaps. Part of the extra buff for the wolf torso is because since it comes with having no way to use weapons that the character should be buffed accordingly. I am however going to nerf the speed bonus to the torso by removing it all together. Might even lower armor bonus a bit too or remove it completely as well. Still unsure about that...maybe nerf and if it still seems like too much, then I'll remove the bonus entirely.
A more balanced approach would be to take the T2 barbarian armor as a baseline and modify accordingly: Taking its stats and adding +0.5 Potency and +5 Stunt Chance at the cost of 1 less Armor would be thematically fitting and reasonably balanced.
