Is it possible to get an DSR patch?
THAT said, wearing it side-down isn't entirely ahistorical, as often the only difference between a tachi and a katana was which side was worn up. Well, technically on which side the smith's signature was on the tang, since it was supposed to be worn towards the outside. But otherwise some tachi and katana could be absolutely identical. So if it helps, imagine it's a tachi.
'Course, it IS ahistorical for the Edo era, but oh well...
Trust me, if I could do anything about it I would have done it a long time ago :/
For the bow, though, I'd have to learn to rig one first. Which is something else I've been procrastinating :p
This is NOT a historical weapon. However, as I was saying, it looked just about the right kind of oversized to fit in with most Bethesda weapons, so it's more of an artistic style decision than my usual historical considerations.
For those who are not fans of a katana that you could row row row your boat with, well, you won't ever see it in the game unless you craft it or give it to yourself with the console. So you can just ignore it.
A hun or mongolian bow sounds definitely interesting, but I never learned to rig anything. You know, so it flexes when you draw it. So I'm probably not the best person to ask for a bow, sadly.
Yep, seems simple enough.
:3 Is a blue background with a gold mountain and a "fleur of lis" (flower of lis) in the top of the mountain. n.n

Should work well enough for a shield with a boss in the middle.
Mind you, I'm not particularly fixated on Castille And Leon. it's just an example. I could do Aragon instead, if you prefer, seein' as it's just stripes. Or some other region you want. I'm open to suggestions.
And if they still wanted to continue, hey, you have a great sword to drive the point home ;)
It's just some swords that have the same blade TYPE, and a hilt that's actually historical for when those blades were forged. So if you were a spanish knight living in the same general period as the Cid, basically you'd be most likely to wear some variant of the Type XII or XIII from my mod.
I suppose the Type XI is fairly close in shape to the Lobera, if you want close to a museum piece.
As for halberds, you can try my Axes and Halberds mod from the Nexus if you're not afraid of installing things by hand, or with the Nexus Mod Manager: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/11646
I never uploaded it to Steam because I wanted to redo some of the blade textures first, and that kinda never happened. The one in the first pic is final version, honest to history, though.
Mind you, there's nothing specifically Spanish about them. They were used all over the place, and the cross pattern was especially popular among Christians of all nations, and ubiquitous among crusaders. And the mesh is designed to give you great visibility when you're blocking, so it may be worth checking out anyway if you're into using shields at all.
I suppose I could make you a version with the Castille flag, if you want specifically spanish?
Lobera? The sword of Fernando? I don't see it, i don't know. :/
And i don't know that about the montante/claymore, wow. n.n
Well, are you a great person. n.n
More to the point, the Tizona (a.k.a. Sword of Cid), one of the national treasures of spain, is Type XIII blade, albeit with a later hilt. And I'd imagine Castille And Leon would use a lot more of type XIII in the final stages of the Reconquista.
And the Lobera, the personal sword of King Ferdinand III, and another national treasure of Spain, is a type XII.
And then there's the Colada, a.k.a., the other Sword Of Cid, which is probably the most typical Type X blade, although again with a MUCH later hilt.
So I'm sure you can find something worthy of a Spanish hero in there.
Pls add a mod with spanish weapons and armors. :'3
Well, and my own hair colour, 'cause it had to be the right shade of carrot on top.
I can't share that mix since I don't own the components, but Ashen can be fairly close. Especially if you want to play a pretty vampire, the Ashen have a mod that prevents the sunken cheeks and general gothic rock band look ;)
I've seen some "shuriken" mods already, but invariably it's a shuriken shaped wand that fires projectiles that are also shuriken. In NV you actually had the throwing animation.
I wrote the clothes mods and the links to them in the "Clothes" thread above. Bearing in mind that some of the stuff like the black or burgundy Rogue Sorceress outfits are my own recolours of it, but the mesh is still the one linked to.
It would be trivial to port the mesh, but the problem is: NV has thrown weapon animations. Skyrim doesn't,
That said, if you're not afraid to install stuff with a different mod manager, you can get the Nexus version (so Steam doesn't overwrite your changes) and the Creation Kit, and just edit the damage and/or speed to what you think is a better balance point. It's literally just typing a number in a form, not some feat of hacking.
Just level up enchanting, make a set of clothes with +smithing enchants, sharpen the weapon. Make a set of clothes with +1h or +2h enchants, depending on what you use, and wear those for battle.
Same deal with the armour value, btw.
And that's not even getting into the alchemy exploits. Now THAT's Sparta... err... that's madness.
So it never seemed worth making weapons with insanely high base damage. The base damage is at best icing on the cake there.
9 dmg is very low.
