@żaluzje uwu there is a difference but only on the small icon. if you hover on it, it still says the normal character name, but the icon is properly switched to tainted, if playing as tainted

@nikos if you're looking for suggestions, is it possible to add a difference between tainted and regular characters?

Yeah, it was, my bad... I hadn't played the game in a while, and it was several other mods that crashed the game as soon as I loaded the save.
I preemptively assumed it was this one since I had issues in combination with other mods before... so that's on me.

Apologies for that, I still really like the mod - big thank you for that!

playing as any character added in repentance just shows the "i am error guy" instead of the character

great mod! my only really small complaint is that the images for the tainted characters are a little bit stretched in discord

Wish I could give you a steam award for that but for some reason you can't do that on workshop comments

for all those that the mod isn't working, just delete all the previous mod files, from "User/Documents/My Games/Binding of Isaac Afterbirth+ Mods" and "Steam/steamapps/common/Binding of Isaac Rebirth/mods" folders, unsubscribe, subscribe again, add "--luadebug" in the launch options, relaunch the game and start playing. this helped me, at least

I agree. Normal Mode/Greed Mode/Challenge/Daily Run would be an interesting replacement to consider. Either way, I'd still use this mod if it gets updated to Repentance.

also, this is a suggestion, but i'd remove the "C:0, B:1, K:0", and instead put there information about the gamemode you're playing, e.g. hard mode, or greedier mode, or a challenge. i don't know if you can code that, but that'd be really cool

I don't think you know how StageAPI works, it uses Catacombs as a base, it basically pastes any custom floors on top of it. That's why when using it, Catacombs appears as I or II in game. Now why this is internal to the API itself, I believe you could add a check to know if the player is in catacombs and not in a stageAPI floor, then switch the name in the discord thing from I to Catacombs I and II to Catacombs II.

@AgentCucco it should work right for all floors in vanilla, maybe stage api does something with the order of the floor code

This mod is interesting, but I think you forgot to make a check for StageAPI when the player is in Catacombs, but not in a custom floor.

Right now it just shows I or II in the discord thingy.
