This may have also been considered as an all-class Jetpack for the original incarnation of rd_asteroid which was planned to give everyone jetpacks out in the "in space" areas of the map before that idea was canned.

this was the original jetpack, there are particles ingame directly referencing the jetpack as "Furious Flyer"

Fun fact but according to After Breakfast the Icon on the Thermal Thruster is for this, so it might've been possible this almost was going to be the Pyro Jetpack before valve made there own.

i can see this getting through if theres no helmet, hell a space map is up next apparently, in mvm, moon mission if i'm not mistaken.
just tread carefully on the similarities, and if you can, toon it up a bit, so it fits into tf2 i guess?

one of my stories I wrote, had the following
"Oi! if you're so cold meybeh pyro could singe yer rump! Might feel better!"
Almost tempted to change it to
"Your could ask pyro to lind yer his jetpacks, but you arrr even smart enough to use it! the resulting KABEEEWWM would heat you up!!"
