Pretty stellar redux of the E1M1 prototype map, got confused on where i was supposed to go on my first time playing this so much to the point i forgot that the crowbar also is in this (which is just a skill issue of mine.) Also found the secret gnome at the end.

i downloaded this thinking it was e1m1 from doom and proceeded to have what i can only explain as "those meme videos about running around in silent hill

How the heck do I get the gun from the zombie in the beginning? It's on his thumb and I can't retrieve it. I keep resetting the game.

@Skummeh I just watched your video and I'm terribly sorry you encountered a problem. I will be pushing an update in the future to address this and some other issues

After looking into it some of the ammo was indeed the incorrect type, I have fixed that issue. As for the other problem... I'm not really sure since everything is set correctly

it may be worth replacing whatever pistol type you have on the zombie at the beginning with item_hlvr_weapon_generic_pistol set to the shooter pistol model, I know said pistol model has been found and set up to work. Then you can do a mass replace for the ammo with item_hlvr_clip_generic_pistol which work with it. That way, it should fix this problem with the map using a pistol entity that doesn't use the provided ammo *and* it gives you the actual pistol that was used in e1m1.

@Wolfcl0ck E1M1 is standalone and does not require any other mods to work properly. Other mods might conflict with it though. I will take a look and see if I can find any issues and will push an update if I see anything wrong

seems not to work anymore, it gave me the non-preorder gun and wouldn't load the ammo for it. Is there maybe an outside mod dependency that isn't stated outright on the download page that I need?

Is this map finished? I thought this tech demo had a strider fight, and a crowbar. But I could be wrong. Really good map, though. Was sad it had to end.

That is correct johnhill, the ladder is the end.

Very nice environment and creative additions. I got to the tall ladder which seems to go to the surface, while attempting to climb it the game sent me to the main menu. I assume this was the end?
