You do realize this mod hasn't been updated in 4.5 years, right?
BAJS NEXT DOOR 8 Jul @ 9:58pm
Patch 1.3.1 ruining the mod. Before that, it's working even after you die.
BAJS NEXT DOOR 8 Jul @ 9:54pm
It's not working anymore with courtiers. If you die, your courtier had big chance to move away from your court.
Commodus 14 Nov, 2024 @ 7:06am
Does not appear to stop court members/counsellors/wives from going to activities:(
Deus ex Machina 23 Jan, 2024 @ 8:37am
it still works. I'm using with "Notification when any courtier wants to leave" mod, no problem.
Uhaakhaaut 13 Jul, 2023 @ 6:18pm
yeah it's still working, but sometime it won't
Nylem 28 May, 2023 @ 5:48pm
Doesn't need an update lol. It's working fine. The amount of people that panic when they see that little yellow triangle is hilarious. Version waring have little relevance on if a mod will work or not.
Finarfin 27 May, 2023 @ 4:51pm
Are you really asking for an update on a mod for which the author hasn't posted since 2021? Freakin' kids.
Uhaakhaaut 27 May, 2023 @ 11:52am
update?
FunGaming44 3 Jul, 2022 @ 6:07am
@Nazkai no it isnt it still needs an update, it looks to be an bandoned mod by now since the creator never answers about an update
Nazkai 9 Jun, 2022 @ 8:09am
Checking in to see if this mod will be compatible with the new Fate of Iberia DLC? :lunar2020thinkingtiger:

Hope it ever gets an update

This mod works great for me with Royal Court. I even started using it in the middle of an existing game, so it works with the save-games, too... at least, in my case.

Thanks so much for this wonderful mod. There's nothing more irritating than to finally build a university, spend 1500 gold to send my grandchild to it, only to have my idiot direct spawn pull the grandchild out so that s/he can stay at mum's/ dad's court and go uneducated (even after my child said "hey, yeah! Please be my kid's guardian!"). Thanks again.

I played CK3 when it first came out and I was already annoyed by wandering family member. It's 2022 and and they still haven't fixed it. This is utterly astonishing.

@Henry Plantagenet, this mod is licensed under GPLv3, you should refer to this license for more information on how to implement this mod's features into your own.
Henriette 29 Dec, 2021 @ 12:12pm
Hey Deku, may I incorporate this into a court life immersion mod I'm making? You'll be given clear credit of course.
chebonaparte 19 Dec, 2021 @ 12:50pm
"Tired of your family members or coutiers leaving your court to pursue a career in hairdressing?" lol :D
HeirandtheSpare 11 Oct, 2021 @ 12:30pm
Can you please please update this?
B flat 30 Jul, 2021 @ 12:11am
1. This mod makes my game lag like crazy. It starts lagging a bit if I use the interaction on one courtier, but if it's the entire court it slows down to a crawl
2. It would be better, I think, if the default was the other way around - courtiers are prevented from leaving by default, but you can allow the wandering. I always hated micromanaging everything about in CK3 since the AI is so stupid, but this just adds to it
Cardolam 19 Mar, 2021 @ 10:36am
Any news about any update for CK3 1.3? Thanks!
FunGaming44 18 Mar, 2021 @ 5:57pm
Mod still seem to be working fine it just needs a version nr compatibility update. Would love to have like a trait icon or something though so we can trace back to who we gave this easily.
Siforox 15 Feb, 2021 @ 3:25am
Hey @Deku am i allowed to implement this into my mod and update it ?
Zenlin 21 Dec, 2020 @ 12:11pm
Yeah it's a shame no one else has made a similar mod, I'd do it myself if I actually knew how to mod. I can't stand that my grandchildren/cousins ect. keep wandering around and catching diseases or getting themselves killed in combat. It has completely ruined some games for me. It's such an intrusive feature, there should be a game rule for it.
Textfieldempty 18 Dec, 2020 @ 12:26pm
@sykestiamat - check most recent mods, someone's made a 'children don't wander'
SykesTiamat 13 Dec, 2020 @ 5:05pm
RIP , such a great mod , sad that the creator abandoned this mod , i cant find any other mod that changes this gameplay breaking feature x.x
roygfs 12 Dec, 2020 @ 3:53pm
is this updated?
Viktor Von Groyper 7 Dec, 2020 @ 7:08pm
@guinnessmonkey thats vanilla its not the mod. They maybe didnt "wander".For what ever reason the spouse goes to another court - invite, hook, martial drama etc. Some children might get born there or just go with them. The spouse might wander from there or go back to the original court. But the kids dont always come with them and they get left in some some tavern. I dont use the mod and I deal with this all the time. The best way to deal with it is to use the Yesman command and invite them. If you use other methods they can sometimes bug out and be at your court but the game sees them elsewhere.
Edison Coni 28 Nov, 2020 @ 12:22pm
Hi, so is it save compatible? Or I have to start a new game to use your mod?
Cardolam 25 Nov, 2020 @ 2:45pm
Will you update this mod to CK3 1.2? Hopefully yes...
Kitta 25 Nov, 2020 @ 2:03pm
Can you please update with the new patch? I love this mod and would love to continue to use it :) Thank you for sharing and all your hard work!
guinnessmonkey 22 Nov, 2020 @ 6:22pm
After installing this mod I started seeing folks that shouldn't wander off (spouse, 4 year old child, etc) wandering off. It was a pain to get them back. Not 100% that it's this mod, but I can't think of what else might be causing it.
Lascalo 5 Nov, 2020 @ 3:32am
I'm using this mod very well. Thank you Mr. Deku. I'd like to ask if AI also uses this interaction. If AI is using this, may I put a link to this mod in our "Matrilineal Marriage" mod description's the other mod recommendations section?
Amazing Squille 24 Oct, 2020 @ 7:00am
Thanks ! So useful !
Btw, I’ve just sent you a french translation on Github. ;)

Could I give a title to a character when his parents stay in my court?
Cardolam 17 Oct, 2020 @ 8:44am
Will it be updated for 1.1.3?
G.Strategos 17 Oct, 2020 @ 5:42am
@Deku
Hi,
Any updates-tweaks?
Thanks!
Karmapowered 15 Oct, 2020 @ 7:47am
Could we please get a version/option where children/spouses (close family) has wandering OFF by default, without prestige cost ? Right now the process seems unnecessarily tedious to me if I play a fertile ruler. I'm also not convinced parents should ever have to pay "prestige" to keep their own children nearby, at least till they come of age.

I could of course try to tweak your mod on my own, to remove the prestige cost for everyone, but that would defeat the purpose of allowing other non close-family members to move on if you don't pay attention to their needs and wants, and don't force them to remain through other costly means.

This being said, essential mod for me to remain sane while managing my court. Thank you for creating and sharing it with us.
Rafard23 13 Oct, 2020 @ 9:39am
@Jeza I was top liege at this point. Married a woman from the neighbouring country, becomes duke there, desinherited from my sucession. He was completely unrelated with anyone in that kingdom.
Jeza 11 Oct, 2020 @ 6:30pm
@Amadee128 Are you sure he left ? It's possible for your liege to land one of your sons directly. He could have been at your court and your liege could have given him a duchy. I've done so very often with my vassal's sons.
Another possibility is that the duchy is "male only" and the previous owner only had girls, the game will then go as far as 6 levels removed to try and find a male to give him the title, he might have inherited it from a cousin of his mother maybe ?
