A 1 AD start date sounds incredibly ambitious, so I wouldn’t expect to see it anytime soon. The same goes for anything between 1500 and 1700—there aren’t really any mods that feature musket gameplay yet, so that would have to be built from scratch. Considering how long ATE took, it’s probably a long way off.

Moin,

how about a somewhat historical timeline, according to history:

year = 0 - Standard (although I wonder if minus is also possible?)
year = 500 # 900 - Early Middle Ages (or Antiquity, as they say)
year = 1050 # High Middle Ages
year = 1250 # 1200 - Late Middle Ages
year = 1500 # 1340 - Renaissance - extra mod need
year = 1700 - Baroque - extra mod need

This may require a change to the end date.

You could create a decision that gives you the ability to move on to the next era when you have completed all current innovations. The year in the culture era file that is modified here is hardcapped. If the year is 1000 you cant advance earlier.

I wish I could move on to the next era early if I finish all the innovations. So far its always just year-locked. Is that hard coded or something?

No it doesn't. Something else causes that. Might be a different mod or corrupted game files.

Make sure to validate your game files. Reinstall the mod. Reinstall the game.

This mod works.

@nerd_bird
I use it with the 769 start. But indeed you could start in 1066 and use it to enter the late medieval era earlier.

Asking for anyone to answer: I'm fairly new and pretty much have only played the Murchad start while I acclimate to the game mechanics, is this mod primarily meant to be used with the 867 and 769 bookmark mod? In 1066 it seems like it would just accelerate how quickly I enter Late Medieval rather than extend how long I'm in High Medieval.

@johnnyguffey1982 the mod works fine. I play with mods probably some similiar as you but no problem at all so far.

It is. Try verifying the integrity of your game files.

first era is tribal and i think you get royal court at early medieval era...
Tempted  [author] 12 Feb, 2022 @ 2:04am
There is probably something else that is the cause of your problem, I cant reproduce it.

Bear 11 Feb, 2022 @ 6:42pm
see, i have king title and feudal goverment type, but if I early era, i dont get court
Tempted  [author] 11 Feb, 2022 @ 8:40am
I don't think I understand the question. This doesn't affect court requirements at all.
Bear 11 Feb, 2022 @ 6:18am
what about court? i cant get it, because still early, but i am feudal

Nice. Also, in case anyone else was wondering, this mod should be fully compatible with Earlier Succession Laws.

Thank you very much. I've been looking for this kind of mod
