Mod works completely fine in 2024 but for some reason the default isn’t working as expected so I changed to my own key button and worked in case you have similar problems.

Doesn't work in my case. I played on 41 build and had this mod placed in the last position in the load order list(with the highest priority), but to no avail.

Is this the mod that adds the "stock [container] from [bag]" command to the menu? If so, please, please, please, IGNORE corpses or small containers. ** IF ( container:get_capacity() < 10 || container:get_name() = "corpse" ) THEN return; ***

Any idea how i can ignore corpses? Makes it impossible to rebuild walls if there's tons of corpses around.

Hello! This is an excellent mod.

I've seen that if you stand on a big pile of corpses and you right-click on them, the menu that pops up gets flooded with "Stock corpse with..." options. Can you add an option to the config menu to ignore corpses? I see there's an option for ignoring mannequins. I believe a similar option for corpses would solve this issue. Thanks!

I don't see any "Unpack.ini" in your Mods folder. Not sure what else needed to "edit" if the files you've mentioned basically non-existence.

@Hao, yes!

@BlackWater821, a few users have reported issues with config changes saving. I so far haven't ever been able to replicate any of the reported behavior. It may help to delete your Unpack.ini, or edit it manually if that doesn't seem to resolve it. I'm not sure if this is some unknown mod conflict, or just a bug in my own code. Apologies =(

The 3 upper options was still ticked by default, count for container % is OFF, ammo is OFF but when i use hotkey to store things the M14 magazine still went inside some random ammo crate DESPITE there is a magazine crate infront. Is that mods issues?

@Shurenai, Oh wow, lol that's obnoxious. Your logic is sound...that is this mod. I will fix this asap, though I apologize as holiday stuff is ramping up fast and may hog my bandwidth. Tysm for reporting. Silly question, are you using mouse and kb or controller?

I have a lot of mods, so I'm not 100% sure it's your mod that does this.. But I don't seem to have another mod like this, so I think it is yours.

So first a clarifying question; Is your mod the one that adds context options for "Stock X from Y"? Like, "Stock Corpse from Backpack"?

If yes, I see you already have options to ignore mannequins and trash, Could you Please add an "Ignore Corpses" option? It's not so bad when it's just one or two corpses, But, When you're trying to pile them all in one place, Or when you've killed a lot in one spot, there are so many "Stock from" options that the context menu goes from top to bottom of the screen and you have to scroll way down to reach, for example, the "Grab Corpse" option.

Every single corpse get's it's own "Stock from" entry from every valid backpack you have equipped, so it stacks up quick.

@Elidyr, thanks for mentioning this. Can you confirm the modnin question with a link? I checked earlier, and I wanna say there were a few. I can figure this out later and see if it's a bug -- or something strange about the way these backpacks are setup

Bro, this mod should be at the beginning of the list, it is so damn hidden, and it is so crucial in the game, no one wants to expend a whole life manually adding stuff into containers, or saving weapons into the fridge (well, maybe yes, but...). I was about to code in Lua to create something similar but then I meet your mod, I had just installed it, I will give a try to look at what can we improve, I believe this should be a main functionality in the base game.

From what I can tell, IsExplored means whether the tile got generated, so it won't change loot from that point on. I think that until IsExplored is set, it won't have any items in it.

I just changed the default key to keypad 0 and its working, fow some reason the right shift didnt do anything. Thanks!!!!!

1) Start game, load local, load multiplayer or just go straight into options > key bindings > stock nearby containers > assign no key > apply > accept.
2) Receive mod update or game update.
3) Start back up, find that key is bound again.

Not sure if it's fixable.

@Larisa, intrusive? Haha, maybe? ..I think right shift if the only unused key on my keyboard. Anyway, I'll try to reproduce this tonight...but fair warning: I don't actually "own" any of the key binding code...that is vanilla PZ and I "hooked" into it. I don't plan on changing the default. There is no key that will make everyone happy. If you have reproduceable steps you can describe (even if they are stupid simple) that would help. Thanks

Could you change the default bind to something less intrusive? I think I've emptied my inventory about 7 times before realizing it was me pressing right shift, which I do half the time I start typing ingame, and because of how slow the ingame chat system the first button pressed after hitting enter usually doesn't get captured by the chat window, and triggers a hotkey action.

I've also had to unbind the unpack hotkey nearly a dozen times now, it just keeps rebinding it self to right shift, maybe change the default to something like Page Down, since it makes logical sense?

Using B41.73 if that matter at all.

When unpacking from your inventory, my mod will check for containers equipped in your primary/secondary (right and left hands) and your back (I think I also added support for fanny packs later). If add inventory pages doesn't "equip" the containers, than I doubt my mod will work those that show in the UI but aren't actually equipped. You could give it a shot. I don't expect my mod to be incompatible. But I do expect it to ignore that containers that aren't actually equipped. HTH

Sorry, what I mean is if your mod already comes with such functionality, because for some reason I thought it was the case. So your mod is not officially compatible with "Simple Add..."? Any idea which issues I could have by using both?

If you're referring to compatibility with "simple add inventory pages"...that's a mod, and I doubt it. My description also notes which containers this will apply to.

Containers in the Inventory being accessible (the icons appearing in the sidebar) without being equipped first is a feature from this mod?
