Hello,

nice mod so far! However, the REINITIALIZE MODS button is grayed out so I can't press it after I install CBA.
So this mod works until I use an addon that requires CBA.
Maybe I have also done something wrong. Do you know these errors?

many greetings

For all future questions; Yes you need to have the mods from start to finish otherwise putting mods midsession of the game will not work.

so it works only if the Old Man was initially started with mag repack mod ?
captainducko  [author] 29 Oct, 2020 @ 11:07am
works for me, used it in Old Man a week ago and neither mod has been changed

I don't know if this isn't working or is the Mag Repack.
Anyway I can't use Mag Repack anymore.

This is a life saver for custom zeus ops but i have to ask, does this create a multiplayer dependency?

@MGK - thanks for the reply. Indeed there is no true "solution". I'll try the profile method you suggested. Thanks!

@FkYoSht - You AND @captainducko are correct.

You get this error when a mod IS missing. 'But I have it loaded'!

Matters NOT.

You load mod A, then mod B. B 'steps on' A. To ARMA, you have mod 'C' loaded.

Weeks go by and you load mod B, then mod A. A now 'steps' on B. To ARMA, you now have mod 'D' loaded.

Some mods modify other mods. An example is the map 'Australia'. The load order for it and CUP is CRITICAL.

You REALLY should be using profiles and NOT changing the order. Doing this will almost guarantee errors like yours and in my 20 year of OFP -> A3, I have never seen a way to 'fix this'.

Use profiles. If adding, COPY AND RENAME the original one and MODIFY THE NEW ONE! IF it works, you can BACKUP the original one.

The profiles are text based so you can edit them. The 'numbers' as the end are from the mod's link in Steam. The 'number' in your profile AND for this profile is '2244571612'.

:)

One would think so but this is not the case for me and others per my research. (https://forums.bohemia.net/forums/topic/160711-mods-wont-load-from-a-save-game/) -although dated, this forum is the most useful i could find. Interestingly enough it references Outlawl's mod on Armaholic (thanks for uploading it to workshop!). In my research, this is how i came to find his mod, and why i'm here.

It has been an issue since Arma 2. The issue isnt missing mods but how the mods are loaded on the activation of the save with certain mods. The only "fix" ive seen is to disable the problem mods that are preventing the save file from loading (hit or miss "solution").

@FkYoSht Don't think so as that error message comes up when a mod is straight up missing
FkYoSht 1 Oct, 2020 @ 10:56pm
Question: Does this "fix" the "You cannot play/edit this mission because..." issue?
