@p0kiehl I would second request for "wildcard" if you could please. "Sid Meier's Civilization® VI: Maya & Gran Colombia Pack" is not a DLC that everyone will get or have enabled. It received some negative reviews.

It would be amazing to have the wildcard policy added here if possible at all and not too much hustle. :)

ps.
Thanks for the mod!

@ GaussTheWiz- "I concur, your excellency." Ergo, I shall subscribe to said mod, and pray for rain, not revolution.

This looks like fun. Political instability is seldom shown in Civ games. Dark Ages are a start, but like you say, they aren't dangerous enough to properly communicate the distrust in a poor leader.

would be nice to add a wildcard policy slot like your dramatic dark age mod?

Updated to remove Loyalty penalty.

For some more Dark Age fun, check out my newest mod, Dramatic Ages: Free Wildcard Slot in Dark Ages!

I hear what you're saying about the Dramatic Ages mode. I just want to point out that this mod has nothing to do with that, and can be used in regular mode or Dramatic Ages mode.

@Amondin - That's a good point, I'll reconsider.

Im not gonna lie, I don't really like how the ages work, with specifics to how to you gain score. It's just way too specific at times, like I'l doo something like beat enemies, or found a city, or even complete a wonder, and its ike "Oh, well I think that constitutes a single point". It makes getting dark ages insanely easy sometimes, and while it is pretty lax, I just don't like how I got there cause it feels like I get cheated while the AI are always on a golden age.

I think there's an argument to be made against the -3 loyalty to all cities given the reduced loyalty per citizen in a dark age unless you're playing Gran Colombia in CE.

Dark ages already felt harsh enough...

well that's moderately terrifying

Makes sense @conorbebe

Any chance we could get a mod that does the opposite of this one and buffs Golden Ages?
