Doesn't work in 1.37 with the formables that got changed from what I've seen, even though the line is gone in the files when I look at Milan in game they still can't form due to "Is independent or Tributary" being an unfulfilled condition

You should use the No Colonies Edition instead. This one is bugged in 1.32 and onwards.

Ok, thanks for the fast anwser. As far as I know this bug happens because pdx fixed the issue where your colonies only change their color after their overlord created them, if the overlord then changes its tag the color remained the same. But whereever and how ever they changed it, it works two ways.... I looked for hours to find where this change is located but I can't find it. Anyways, I will tell you if I find it.

I haven't tested this version of the mod yet in 1.32, but the color issue doesn't seem to happen with regular subjects (I've tested this last week in my multiplayer rework mod), so I honestly don't know what seems to be causing the bug with colonies.

I'm currently working on a mod for a LAN with my friends and made USA formable as a colony like you did. How did you fixed the color change issue in the not released version for 1.32? Or better where the hell did pdx scripted this color change? Because I can't find it anywhere in the files -_-

Ever since 1.32 I've had the color change issue. It is definitely new to 1.32, as I've used your mod for awhile with no issues prior. Slightly annoying, but the rest of the mod works as intended so still worth it!

This mod should work just fine with older saves, and as far as I'm aware, it should work on 1.32 aswell. Sounds like you've gotten yourself a really weird glitch

Is this savegame compatible? I already have a colony setup in South America. My colonial nation forms Chile and changes to a new color but whatever color is chosen, my main nation color changes to the new nation as well. Can't tell if that's normal or if it's a glitch from playing an existing save.Great mod by the way!

It works for me, buuut only on subjects, PU didn't work, had to do some funny codes to make Russia out of Moscow PU

I have had client states form nations on my game, Was testing it out on my Extended Timeline game. It works great but because some provences move around, some countries are impossible to form without cheats.

I've used in multiplayer before and never had any issues with it. Sync issues usually occur when two players have their game in a different language, have you checked if that's not the case?

I actually never tried out Client States, though there might be a chance it actually works. Formables that are added aren't affected by this mod, however

I love this mod, but I am wondering two things. One, is it possible for client states to form stuff? I saw a previous comment asking the same but I didn't see an answer. And two, I'm guessing that any mod that adds new formable nations wont work, like Formables Expanded for example. One again, love this mod!

Would it be possible to remove the 'isn't subject nation' from mission checks such as Milan's in a few clicks, or do you have to go through every one individually? I'm doing a France run where I'm trying to get vassals to form Britain, Italy, Spain, and Germany.

I like that colonial nations can form and get unique Ideas and whatnot, but I am curious whether it is possible to make them keep their color instead of taking some random one that makes it hard to tell which colonizer is where.

Just to add, and it may not be a big deal for some, but when a colony forms a nation Ex. Thirteen Colonies to the United States, you are unable to send colonists inland adjacent to your colonies' coastal provinces. Haven't really tested, but this problem only formed after getting this mod. Otherwise love the mod!

I agree that colonies shouldn't be able to form new nations. A lot of the tags they can form are specifically the countries that were created IRL after independence. It doesn't make sense for, say, the Thirteen Colonies to form the United States without becoming independent (given that the whole reason they formed the United States IRL was because they declared independence). A still-colonial United States is a historical oxymoron, and several of the other post-colonial tags are similar.

Can you make it so that you can choose whether colonies can form nations? I would like the feature to be there but not removed if a few people want it gone. If not then oh well, thanks for the mod <3
