After the Eden fight the item teleported me back to home and now I can't access the Beast

Here's a weird one, walked RIGHT into a normal room that got duplicated.
Left that room by going DOWN, which put me in a duplicated secret room and it ONLY opened a hole on the BOTTOM of it. Went DOWN and it put me in a normal room below the secret room (hole stayed open). Went back into the secret room and how it has 2 holes, one on the BOTTOM and one on the TOP.
Probably working as intended i think.

Entering ANY duplicated red room will put you in a normal floor room instead

Entering a duplicated ultra secret room sends you to a normal floor room instead (not a red room, not an ultra secret room)

Leaving a duplicated I AM ERROR room through the trap door to the next floor will crash the game (fun fact, it will crash after the floor transition nightmare cutscene)

With blue key trinket, when Aintramural duplicates the room after the blue key room, leaving the duplicated room will crash the game

Are you on AB+ or REP? Because the hole bug was fixed a while ago, and are you sure you're on the most up to date version?

Sadly the patch notes don't say which is the latest, but you should at the very least be on 2.0

That sounds... unexpected. We haven't updated this since Feb. so it might need to be looked at.

Went into shop, got duplicated, bought an active item and used it, walked out, went back in for the normal room, the duplicated room became the normal room. Original room got deleted i guess lmao

Went into the curse room from the secret room, it duplicated the curse room and but i couldnt leave because the wall where the secret room should be had no hole. Forcing me to take damage by leaving through the spiked door. Not sure if intended

It tried to duplicate when i went into a crawlspace but it just put me inside the original room with the crawlspace (did not duplicate that room either)

Just got softlocked in Home because this proc'd on the transition from Dogma to Beast, putting us into a crawlspace and sending up back to the Home when we left it.

@Lostfrail I'm pretty sure it specifically works like this to avoid softlocks. Though also it's part of the core design, when you enter the door you get sent to an alternate version, and when you exit you go back to the room from which you entered.

I wish I could send a picture here because the diagram explains it pretty well, just imagine something like.

Room 1 ---> Room 2
. . . . . . . .L> Alt Room

It's a branching path is what I'm trying to say, and that's by design.

I think it should bring to the room which was duplicated when returning from the copy. It's a bummer to loose out on an angel deal when you got abducted to a sub-par choice like hallowed ground for the lost.

What do you mean "progression rooms"? If you mean normal rooms then ABSOLUTELY NOT, lmfao, that's like the whole gimmick of the item. Black Markets crash the game in vanilla as well if you try to use their trapdoor through the goto command, next update we'll either delete the trapdoor or blacklist the room.

Ok I fix it my self. Just replace the "if door" line under "if it's a secret room" with this:
if door ~= nil then
door:Destroy(false)
--door:Open()
Isaac.Spawn(EntityType.ENTITY_EFFECT, EffectVariant.IMPACT , 0, door.Position, Vector(0, 0), Isaac.GetPlayer(0))
Now everything work fine.

Seriously, this mod reallt need to fix the secret room issues. I know there's a code in lua file that try to blow up secret room door, but it's not working, if I enter a secret room made by this item, I'll get a lot of error code in the debug console and I can't get out secret room without bomb. Please fix!

also, it happened on isaac fight
instead, i fought dark one and the adversary, the chest spawned, and the game crashed when i entered it

if this happens on a secret room, if you dont have bombs, or stuff like terra, it could cause softlock
because it does not open the wall on its own, you think you can fix that?

Cool item but it gave me the Mom Foot fight when i was going to fight Isaac , there was no way to go back and chest appeared at the end of the fight. Entering the chest crashed the game.
