I've been in the text formatting before but I cannot see how you made those horizontallines that stretches across the entire paragraph.
It isn't even text that I can copy.

Is it a png [/img]?

Valve uses a tag system similar to HTML. The supported ones are here.

How do you make those lines that stamd out so mcuh for your paragraphs aka description?
friendlygermansoldat329 12 May, 2023 @ 3:58pm
Do these only spawn on women?
__ 9 Apr, 2023 @ 10:46am
Good mod. This is the sort of clothing Okran intended that women wear.

0.0 Material Crafting Multiplier will however make the item "free to craft" in general, just a heads up, so use your fractions, that's what floats are for.
Myst Leissa 26 Mar, 2023 @ 5:15pm
Here's an explaination of Material Cost Multiplier settings and what they mean: Material Costs for crafting recipes are AUTOMATICALLY determined by the game based on the value of the input materials. The Material Cost Multiplier could be thought of as a "Profit Margin" in that it multiplies these costs by this much MATERIAL and TIME when crafted, it does NOT effect the price point, but rather the material cost to make the item which is ALREADY adjusted for the game's balance. 1.0 is a "break even" value, while less than 1.0 is profitable to make (think labor intensive which increases value), and greater than 1.0 your losing money to craft it as opposed to buying it from an NPC.
Myst Leissa 26 Mar, 2023 @ 5:03pm
Also the crafting costs are insane compatively speaking, 6.1 Materials Multiplier for something that gives less armor than armored rags...not exactly a good deal.
Myst Leissa 26 Mar, 2023 @ 5:01pm
Can't seem to find them in vendors, I even did an Import of my Save data (which should no longer be required according to the past patch notes on the main game), still nothing, I'm also running the mod that they appear on Female NPCs but haven't noticed any yet.
Indrid Dragon 9 Nov, 2022 @ 1:49pm
Very nice. The Holy Nation approves.
Amok Harvest 2 Sep, 2021 @ 4:50pm
Hi Kindrad - I'm working on a total overhaul and ran across your mod. I think it adds a great element to the Holy Nation, adding a more conservative vibe to peasants there. I'd like to use this in the live version due to be released towards the end of this year. All authors are attributed properly and will be invited to a private beta test before release. Feel free to chat me on Discord at AmokHarvest#4416 if you like.

So..... what about the ragged skirt mod, coming up any time soon?
Raf-raf♀ 12 Jan, 2021 @ 6:15am
Now this will make the statement of Holy Nation Paladins:
"Women are seductive by nature" with this mod
Invicti8660 4 Jan, 2021 @ 8:17am
awesome! Thanks for the update and I wish you good luck in this new year!
Kindrad  [author] 29 Dec, 2020 @ 9:20pm
I guess quick update for anyone curious:

This mod has been on my bucket list to return to for awhile.

I do have an apron model already made, it just need textures and to have a second one rigged for males (that's not super hard).

Honestly, I've just been insanely busy the past couple months with real life. Just too tired to work on anything by the time I'm home.

I also have another mod I'm working on that has eaten up the majority of any time I do put into modding. It's an overly ambitious custom race mod (hundreds of hours of work so far). That one takes precedent over this one.

I'm hoping to get back around to finish this one sometime in January.

@thomas.verlynde

I'd like to add texture variants. A ragged one is a frequent request.
Invicti8660 29 Dec, 2020 @ 10:36am
amazing! do you plan to make an old, won-out, dirty version of it? Would go really wel with my servants/serfs roleplay I have with some of my female PC
Kowalth 25 Dec, 2020 @ 2:23pm
man, this is exactly what my town ladies are lacking. More femenine clothing like dresses. an "old" or more dirty version would be great, to add more immersion. Thanks for sharing!
Kindrad  [author] 20 Oct, 2020 @ 12:09am
thanks for the vote of confidence,
fossil 19 Oct, 2020 @ 5:34pm
@kindrad awesome, thanks. i'm excited to see what else you make
Kindrad  [author] 19 Oct, 2020 @ 4:43pm
@fossil thanks for letting me know. I updated it to add it to the clothing bench
fossil 19 Oct, 2020 @ 4:32pm
i'll add that i have a self-made mod which adds other modded garments to the simple clothing tech so i guess there's a chance that's the problem, but i'm not sure
fossil 19 Oct, 2020 @ 12:55pm
love the dresses but it looks like you didn't include an armor craft functionality at the clothing bench allowing you to actually make them. i'm curious why no one else has pointed this out yet
Kindrad  [author] 9 Oct, 2020 @ 2:28am
@cactus.martinis
I updated the mod to include the fix. Once again thanks for finding that.
LucasM 8 Oct, 2020 @ 4:06pm
@Kindrad If you change it I will delete my mod because it won't be necessary anymore. Your friendly cactus hopes you implement this fix.
Kindrad  [author] 8 Oct, 2020 @ 12:36pm
@cactus.martinis
Thank you for catching that. I copied the rags item to use as a base. I'll have to change that
LucasM 8 Oct, 2020 @ 8:53am
I made a mod which changes the stigma of this dress from slave to none.

I like this mod, thanks for making it.
NPC 5 Oct, 2020 @ 10:21am
do you have the discord link?
MagicLlama 5 Oct, 2020 @ 9:30am
@Kindrad I was wondering if I could use the mod for an overhaul mod I'm doing as a corona project. I'll obviously credit you as the creator :)
Kindrad  [author] 5 Oct, 2020 @ 12:02am
@cat
You should probably go visit the Kenshi Discord. myself and a bunch of other modders are there
Arkhiel 4 Oct, 2020 @ 12:12pm
i'm still with max 2010 X) , but yeah someday i'll have to catch up
Herr Metzger 4 Oct, 2020 @ 11:33am
Great work, You should give this dresses to all Holy Nation females as a default outfit.
NPC 4 Oct, 2020 @ 10:51am
can i add you as a friend so we can maybe work on modding together in the future?
なぞめいた 4 Oct, 2020 @ 5:40am
These look really good! Looking forward to your future variants :)
Kindrad  [author] 4 Oct, 2020 @ 3:37am
A cape or hood could be possible, however, since Kenshi doesn't have cloth physics or cape bones the cape would just have to follow the main body bones. I suppose the cape item could be made for the belt slot and designed to fit over most armors.

I might consider doing a separate cape mod but I have a decent backlog of mods I'm working on still. I won't make a confirmation and yes I'll work on a cape but I'll certainly consider it. I certainly like the idea if there aren't any other existing cape mods.
Kindrad  [author] 4 Oct, 2020 @ 3:36am
Overall though I want to keep within the vanilla Kenshi look/art style and lore friendliness. I feel anything too nice would seem out of place. That doesn't leave a ton of room.

The apron and alternate textures are definitely on the to-do. Everything else I mentioned here is just stuff I've considered but have no plans for yet. I try and put quite a bit of care into each unique model so it takes me quite a few hours to model, sculpt, rig, texture, import, and tweak so it's a rather time consuming task.
Kindrad  [author] 4 Oct, 2020 @ 3:36am
@Cianuro
Thanks.

For certain I plan on adding an apron for the belt slot. Something that will fit over the existing dress or other armors. That will use the second faction color.

I'm thinking of adding a tattered version. Perhaps alternative texture patterns like a faction color based plaid or floral pattern could be made since that would be fairly easy.

I might do another unique dress model with a waist tie or one with some decorative frills and collar.

Possibly a plain kimono of some sort.
Vanaukas 4 Oct, 2020 @ 12:47am
your dress looks absolutely fantastic, Can I ask about the later dress variants? You could consider making a hood or/and a cape that match this style?
NPC 3 Oct, 2020 @ 7:59pm
dang.
Kindrad  [author] 3 Oct, 2020 @ 7:20pm
@cat
If you ever see this or for anyone else who cares.
The in-game model has 1,496 verts and 2,836 triangles.
Simulation model has 17,590 verts and 34,912 triangles.
NPC 3 Oct, 2020 @ 4:50pm
how many verticies is that? i cant imagine
Kindrad  [author] 3 Oct, 2020 @ 2:56pm
@Arkheil
Thanks. Today we generally use cloth simulation and just paint in details that the simulation misses or to alter things.
Arkhiel 3 Oct, 2020 @ 1:41pm
Hey really nice, i love the wrinkles (I always struggle at these)
