Playing on the Center map, whats the best place to find large deposits of both ores? Only seeing small rock nodes here and there, barely enough to harvest

does anyone else think the rings range is too short? these things are meant to beam you into orbit but in game i can only place them 200 meters apart? they should at least reach halfway across the map, seems like a lot of resources for an in base short range teleporter

I had no idea that the iris would obliterate him and all his things.

The mod makes only a mention of being as true to lore as possible - Nothing to make someone who doesnt know the lore say "Oh, this might cause a problem for someone."

This should, likely, be included in the description or the FAQ.

Also, DrakeDB, I saw that there's supposed to be a way to interact with the iris on the receiving side via the sender's DHD, but there is no documentation anywhere that I can see; Could you possibly pin or create a documentation section, detailing the way that the mod is meant to work for those of us who are super-casual fans on servers with super fans?

So I discovered an interesting thing. If you die at a gates closed Iris you lose your entire inventory to the wormhole and can not recover it.

Ok 2 questions,

1. What is the best method for getting stuff out of nodes? The Anky and Magmasaur aren't giving any gold / naquadah only stone. We've only been able to get stone. And using the pickaxe is tedious.

2. Any progress report on SE2 yet? I visited the Discord but there hasn't been any talk in months I think.

somehow this got into my gamerusersettings [/game/mods/stargateevolution/testgamemode_stargateevolution.testgamemode_stargateevolution_c]. with changes to Beacons it seams is this normal?

Any way to increase the node spawn rate? Private server with very few playing. May work well for larger servers but so far, I've seen 1 gold node and that was when I left the toon sitting for 10 minutes.

There is a PG system now so walking along ores will spawn around the player the more players there is the more spawns there is.
For an FYI though SE2 PG system is more advanced and works on dinos instead so its more natural and they are easier to spot due to the differences in size

I was not aware of this bug but SE1 is no longer updated or support SE2 is in full development and is so far ahead of SE1 code wise that working on SE1 is not as much possible that is why the last release was ment to be the final one

The Fastest way to get answers is by joining our discord we will always try to answer questions as fast as possible sadly dont always get chance to answer as quick as we would like with real life work and family life but it pings us all much faster we dont monitor steam comments as often.

The only team member that ever really paid attention to the comments and helped everyone was Raovake. He left the team for some reason or other. I am sure there are still comments of his like 6+ pages back. Looks like his more recent ones were deleted.

If people are wondering, the way to get questions answered is to join their discord server they will interact there more.

And also not to act like a jerk like I did, I got banned because I was out of line.
So be nice when you're on their server, respectful of the mods.
Otherwise you're stuck like me, in the Naquadah mines, slaving away... trying to find my own answers

Hello, first of all I like your mod very much so far, it is the best Stargate mod for Ark so far.
Will this mod also be available for ASA?
Will weapons still be introduced like P-90 , staff weapon and zat ?
Could you maybe bring in a sarcophagus as a bed, pyramid structures?
Would it be possible to bring in breedable, tameable Goauld symbiotes and queens?

Every time after a server restart, all crafting stations, gates, DHD and rings are unlocked. Very bad on a PVP server. Our server is set to "ForceAllStructureLocking=true" by default. But the Stargate structures seem to ignore that. Please fix.

in my obsidian are no new mats? is there something to right into the game.ini or gameusersetting.ini so i can harvest them? or do the not spawn on lost island?

@mask; have not seen that problem. I see the ore and I see obsidian on Fjordur both scattered around.

Is there any way to disable the ore deposit spawns?

Quick tip: More players in one area will spawn more nodes.

Pro tip: Kill your character multiple times out in a field and all the corpses will count as "players". (for example, eat some organic polymer) Do this about 7 times and you'll be flying from node to node trying to keep up. (Argent + Anky = best)
