and sound like a shipdoor open when i 'E' on the Uncrafter ,maybe some assets messup
hope all the info can help u fix this
Betabound adds some of its items to that table, so I'll add a check for the table in the next update. Either way, it's not this mod or Betabound, but rather whichever mod is removing that table

works fine with the previous release
can u fix that plz ?
Do you see it, lad...?
On the Horizon?
Is it... Treasure?
I'm glad you like it!! It's pretty fun being able to rob a village and uncraft a ton of stuff, or just scrap a ton of weapons.
@Gibus Gaming
The Uncrafter has no way to tell how/where you crafted an item. It just picks the first valid recipe it finds, sorry!
it costs less to make the pickaxe in it,but when i uncraft it,instead of picking the same recipe,it looks into the anvil recipe,which costs more,effectively multiplying the resources.
@FishLord yeah
it was the items and recipes from their plating table. are there others that I'm missing perhaps?
If you could make an example, I could probably add all the recipes to it myself as needed with a personal patch. as I know how basic mod packing and unpacking works, and can figure out the json patching I think. I just don't know how it would work when going into a lua file as it seems to suggest...
So what I'd like is that, instead of picking the first uncraftable recipe it comes across, maybe you can make a second version of the uncrafter machine or add a button to it's interface that switches the uncrafter to use the last recipe it finds instead of the first that you can easily switch between. then if people find their items uncrafting into the wrong thing due to new recipes, they can try the other version and hope to get a different result.
do you think it's possible? or is this a bit of a tall order?
G'day, is there a way that you can reverse engineer this thing to potentially add a button to it that makes it search for recipes in inverse order?
For example, I have the ore plants mod that lets me craft seeds that grow cooked foods. I use them to basically condense my farms to grow multiple items on something in one go and then uncraft to get the components to use for seperate things to trim down my farm usage space.
however frackin universe added a form of food decoration items which take the cooked food and turn it into a placeable and vice versa. what is happening is now the uncrafter simply converts some foods to and from their placeable variants.

Another great mod from you :)
From what I can tell most of the stuff in FU can still be uncrafted. From what I've found the "only" things you can't uncraft are the basic metals (Alloys still work), seeds, (anti)neutronium, anything involving Ancient Essence, and liquid Irradium/protocite.
Weapons, armor, furniture, most liquids, food, RNG weapons, mech parts, and fuels can still be uncrafted. I didn't test every individual item from the categories that can be uncrafted but I did pull quite a few from each.
I thought this list would be much smaller when I started. It seems most of the stuff marked as nouncrafting was involved in a super high output automated resource farm. I think the big one that started everything was Liquid Irradium. You could set up a few pumps on an Irradium Sea and get a 1 to 1 on turning Liquid Irradium into Irradium bars and state-phase gel. Ironically, if the recipes to craft these liquids were balanced from the start this wouldn't have been an issue.
Provided my memory is not faulty, a change in the past made ALL things have the nouncrafting tag making the uncrafter useless needless to say the change was not well liked. It irked me when they did that not just to their resources but the base game assets as well. Frackin is a massive grindfest and they just keep adding more to it, like the latest research system that was borked on arrival. It just adds more micromanaging to the game thankfully they left cheat codes in it for people like myself who hate that kind of progression system so they can skip it otherwise it would have been unbearable.
