As others have said, please put this on WH3, Abhorash is a absolute legend, although CA will probably release him as DLC at some point.

Unfortunately i only learned about this mod now, and since Abhorash is my favorite Vampire character i wanted to try him out, however i am playing a VC campaign atm with the mod recruit defeated legendary lords on, i have Vlad and Isabella already, but since that campaign is already 100+ turns in and i enabled the mod now, does that mean i won't be able to get him ?

One thing I'd like to see added to this mod is that if he really does take extra damage from missile attacks it should be reflected somewhere on the unit card

This is hands down my favorite mod! He's very strong but lacks lots of what makes the VC a good faction, but thats okay because he gives big bonuses to his army and just works so well. Such a fun mod! I use it in every Vampire campaign I play now. I wish he could be used in other races too because his Get Up! ability works on living units aswell. 10/10 character mod <3

Lorewise Abhorash should prob be his own faction, but thats a whole dif type of mod.

it works fine, updates only required when game updates modify same entries as a mod does.

and some ppl should read mod descriptions before commenting....

Not working? , then its not installed properly , conflicting or you are playing wrong faction.

IMHO though its not very balanced.

Cool lord. A bit OP. Your main problem is that nobody can engage him in melee combat. Just try to put alone on a custom map and make him stand still. The enemy will just walk in circles. If you attack a group of enemies they won't react or fight back.

I think his faction's starting position should be Karak Azgal and start off at war with skull crag. It's pretty far away from other LL's and you have an early confederation partner in the Strygos Empire. It''s also fairly close to where he fought that dragon, so it's pretty appropriate.

Really cool looking model, but waaaay too strong. Reduce his damage spell casts to 3 and nerf the range of his healing by a lot. You can just spawn the damage spell and wipe out entire units. The stats are kinda op too but since he's a LL its not too bad. But his spells are way too strong and have way too many casts/need a higher CD

While I admit the helmet looks cool, it might with a deph guard helmet better. Seen it used on Vlad and it looks badass.

Abhorash's helmet doesn't look cool. It doesn't match his armor. Would you mind using the red Duke's?

Really damn cool, have been looking for an Abhorash mod for a looooong time, thank you! But as Pinny also said, maybe increase his size a bit so archers can actually hit him? Double the size would be best i think (so around twice the height of Vlad)

Mikey012, this guy looks killer! I'm using The End Times overhaul mod and was wondering if you could make him either compatible statwise or create a script so he's only recruitable after some quest, like taking Bloodkeep, for the Undead? Either way, thanks for the great work!

That is one sick model. He does seem a bit OP from my initial testing, but don't let that get in the way on how dope he comes across here. I did notice a visual bug. Whenever he moves in the campaign map, his color changes to red, but then when he stops, he's back to the normal color. It's actually kind of cool looking, though. Might have something to do with the day and night mod I have, though.

Hi Mikey, first of all, congratulations on this mod, finally someone makes one of the most powerful lords of vampires. I've given you a unicorn award for your effort. However, could you make Abhorash an eligible lord in campaign mode not dependent on anyone? That is, as a faction of its own, and bring the bloody knights back to the top. Thank you very much again and keep it up.

Also it doesn't really matter if ranged does double damage to him if he has 80 speed and a standard sized unit model. He can outrun almost any ranged unit (except maybe something like pistoliers) and once in combat, is extremely difficult to hit.

Well I agree with you that it does probably have more something to do with hardware rather than software, seeing as I have been unable to recreate the crash described. I'd rather have a mod that never crashes then a mod that crashes 1 in every 10 times... kinda ruins the experience when it crashes, but I'll widen the area of effect and raise the amount of units to 20... hopefully no crashes :)

I'm using a mod to unnerf earthblood an invocation of nehek so that it Heals and revives everything it hits. And I just fought a fight with two skeleton stacks +2 necromancer with their passive heal/revive against 3 full skaven stacks + garrison. Blobbing up with constant revives what caused heavy lags (3 times speed was less than normal Oo) and it didn't crash at all

Maybe the crash depends more on the own computer than the game/mod...

1 out of 10 crashes isn't that much imo, personally I don't see a point in nerfing his abilities, but it's up to you

Ok so I'm gonna limit the amount of units the heal spell can heal, this should stop further crashes

Quand je tente de soigner l'ensemble des unités avec le sort Abhorashs, le jeux plante 1 fois sur 10.

En passant je cherche aussi une personne, capable de créer le seigneur nurgel jouable, pas les démons mais le dieu du chaos nurgel. Je suis prêt à payer pour ça.

I think he meant that his game crashes when he uses Abhorashs healing skill in 1 out of 10 cases.

I`m not sure now, but his healing skill revives aswell? If so, it might not be the problem of your mod but with the skripting of CA. If the heal/revive is to strong, the game just can`t handle it since it`s not intended by CA. Other mods that put custom revives into the game have the same problem. For example my game crashes with Tomb King Extended from time to time. The buffed up Nehekaran passive causes this but there is nothing one can do (Agemouk knows what he is doing and if not, he knows who to ask xD). Just quicksave before you battle and give it another try when it crashes.

Ok so the problem you may be having is that the healing ability doesn't work on abhorash himself (because he already has a bunch of healing stuff), and you can only heal your units to what they were at the start of the battle.

Translation: alors le probleme que t'as, c'est que la capacité de guérison ne marche pas sur abhorash (car il a dejá plein d'abilités de guerison), et tu peux seulement guérir les gens jusqu'a ce qu'ils était au debut du combat

this lord is a one man army when he gets his levels up, very fun but i would say he is brokenly powerful, buuuut its fun ;)
