I have an idea. How about damaging the ships a bit more and add them to the game as wrecks you could find only in water?

That way you don't have to worry about updating the ships AND i have yet to find a mod that adds shipwrecks to Space Engineers. Two birds with one stone. ;)

if you use the "[OBSOLETE] Water Mod 2.0 Archived Build" it fixes the sinking issue,
also, I haven't been able to get the "small grid" ships and drones to spawn

I am working on updating the boats. just not had much time and some of the designs are proving tricky to adapt to the new water mechanic.

I've managed to refloat a couple of these after the latest water update (in survival mode, haven't encountered the others. Let me know if I can help.

mod is currently broken due to the recent update regarding changes to the water physics, which now rely on making airtight compartments to make ships float. Please, Please, tell me there's an update coming to fix this issue-

I was wondering will you be updating this mod when the water mod updates in about a week. The update to the water mod will change how ships float which will likely break this mod unless you've prepared for it. So is this mod ready for it?

Hey Meridius, im using this mod with the Agaris at War scenario from CaptainArthur and was wondering if its possible to just reduce the pirates, without also changing the spawn frequency of the AaW ones. Saw both use the planetary installations.sbc file for its spawns (AaW also has ships/boats spawn on water).

So yeah if i say let the pirates only spawn less and further away, that also affects the enemies from the Agaris mod sadly :(

Hope you can help me with my issue :D

I've had these spawn a couple of times, but they always sink... I think the newest buoyancy updates have broken their ability to float

Is it possible to remove the Water Mod as required? Or make a version without its requirement so it is possible to use the new version of Water Mod as the author of that mod is asking to do?

Will mention as someone else has recently, I have yet to see one spawn. However my game is mod heavy with IO and Planet Agaris on top. The world was created before the last game update. Thus why I hadn't mentioned this yet. The cult is spawning as normal if you ignore the buildings floating in air. lol ..Yeah i'm stressing my game a bit.

@1Donis I was just using standard Agaris with water no other mod that alters the planet. They never did spawn and ive long since gave up on that play.

Hey i hope the mod Author and other struggling People like @black_dragon1230 are seeing this
He might be playing industrial overhaul, which seems to modify buoyancy.
If you read this Mod Author, is there a possibility that an addon to this mod will be released adding Flotation Blocks from IO to the boats? Boats do spawn on Agaris IO, but will immediately sink...

anyways i really like your mod and it ads a lot of cool ships and dangers to the seas^^:selike:

Any possible reason why these refuse to spawn on Agaris with water? I have even used the command GESAP to check for spawn availability and they do not show in the list. I'm not sure if its something wrong i did or a mod conflict. Thanks for any help. Cheers

Jesus christ these things are OP. Why'd you give them gauss cannons? I want to have enemies but these things are ridiculously heavily armed, I can't do anything without getting shot down by the damn pin-point accuracy gauss turrets on the boats.

That's an intentional feature, the ship is electrified.

When i try to board and capture a ship while im grinding blocks my character takes damage, Is that an issue anyone else has had?

Also, worth mentioning, I was only testing if they are being spawned via "/MES.Spawn.PlanetaryInstallation" command. Not sure if this is intended, but they was sometimes spawning above/under water level as a static grids.

Good to hear! I did notice that the Shark Bait might need to be rebalanced at some point though, I think various changes to the water mod messed with it a bit :P

This mod hasn’t worked for a while, the water api was rewritten but I haven’t implemented it into the spawner yet. I don’t have an eta for when that fix will be ready

Is it possible for me to get the blueprints for some of these ships? im terrible at designing ships and i cant find any seaworthy ships on the workshop.
