Keen always builds the inspired additions from scratch, but it's the idea and the proof of concept that lays the foundation. Don't sell yourself short. I haven't done a side by side comparison, but I suspect your firework explosions are better. What would be useful now is a small grid single barrel version that can be placed on a hinge or rotor for directional control and effect. And wouldn't you know it, Keen has just made the assets for it available (*hint- hint, wink, wink)

For real tho, I'm glad to finally have fireworks in the game. Its something I've wanted ever since I discovered this mod

Not exactly my mods, but rather the idea itself got implemented. They seem to have created their own version from scratch. But I can still claim I have inspired them, right? ;)

Just checked. It still work for me. It is more subtle effect, supposed to be used in conjunction with other and give little hair and sparkles behind. If you shoot straight up and stand directly below it it may be hard to see because of the way SE orientates particles toward the player. I designed most of effects to be used at slight angle. You can use Shoot On setting on the gun for continous work and stack multiple effects at the same time to verify, although it not intended way to use it.

The Weaponcore framework offers some of the features you seem to be looking for, like turrets resetting to their default positions.

Delicious 20 fps when doing "shoot on" with most fireworks. Its still an amazing mod though and a single firework gun set to "fire once" gives quite a show!

Thanks :D A while ago I thought it would be a cool idea to launch a bunch of fireworks and look at them from an observation post, but i couldnt find a firework mod. My plan was just to use warheads but I doubt that would look as cool so thanks.

I'd love to make adjustable altitude, in fact, i'd love to make many more parameters adjustable. Unfortuantely i got stuck on a roadblock - in base SE there is only one type of missile, and i don't know yet how to code one myself yet. To get around i used guns muzzle flash as particle source, downside is, they always start in same place (relative to gun).
Until i learn more about modding i can only suggest moving some launchers back some distance and aim lower to achieve change in altitude.

Everything in it's own time. This is my very first mod, and solely making it work was a challenge all in itself, let alone integration with other mods/apis. You know, "I need to learn how to walk before i run"

This could probably be done better with Weaponcore. But good job, the effects are solid and it's overall good for celebrating the death of your enemies! Too bad it can't help cause them too....

Hey Ufol BeerSeeker, Finally got around to using your mod. This is a GEM! Great job on the particle effects. Please don't let this be one of those projects that get started but never finish. I was messing around with your mod using timer blocks, and it worked out pretty good. You know how some fireworks are shot up higher in the air than others? Is it possible to set a detonation timer or altitude? I'm trying to find time to put something together to show your mod to Keen, Hell if others are interested, we could turn this into a Space Engineers Fireworks competition! lol:clang::steamhappy::clang:

Imagine the fireworks shows that could be done with this using Timer, programable, Sounds, Rotor, and Hinge blocks.You bloody Genius, SE has all the tools to put on one hell of a fireworks show, we just need your fireworks launcher mod and PRESTO!:clang:
