chybí přední příčný nosník, zvolit jiný motor, chybí zadní příčný nosník nebo náprava, zadní nápravy z kol tam jsou zbytečný když nejsou jak zapojit do rychlostní skříně (trocha myšlení by neuškodilo)

@ultimate_Vanquisher Sorry, but that is how the original model was. I did not change much as far as the body goes.
ultimate_Vanquisher 7 Mar, 2021 @ 2:00pm
The complete front of this vehicle looks terribly crude...

Nice

the baking process makes the uv for the temp kinda confusing . Ive started a mock car folder which sets up the actual set up , the configs etc. what do you mean by getting the model in the condition it needs to be ? do you have a facebook or any other way we can talk more about the things involved
ythma  [author] 15 Jan, 2021 @ 1:20pm
I will then add all the other necessary files, the bodyconfig.txt, config.txt, name.txt, and parts.txt. I will usually just copy these files from another car and then modify them to the new mod. I will then check the mod in the editor for any issues. Once I have no issues and have added any additional parts, I will then do the thumbnails. I will also have emptied the workshop folder to make the loading of CMS quicker. I will then run a profile, go to the auction to find the new mod to buy one. If it is not there, I will exit and try again until I get one. I then test to make sure that everything is looking and working correctly in the game with the mod.
ythma  [author] 15 Jan, 2021 @ 1:20pm
I do not do any kind of baking. Once I have the model in a condition that I can send it to CMS, I export it as a fbx. There are 2 main files needed to send to Unity, the model.fbx and collider.fbx In Unity, you create a new folder for the car, add the fbx files, make sure the collider box is checked, then create the CMS files. You have to have the CMS asset in Unity to create the CMS files. From there I copy the new asset folder found under the streaming assets folder to the main cars folder. If this is a first run, meaning the first time I have exported the model,

I see its just naming and organizing the files if i can just figure out baking for temps and assigning materials , seems easy peasy hopefully
ythma  [author] 15 Jan, 2021 @ 9:01am
The process I use starts with finding the original model online. Most of the ones I have found have started in a format that Blender cannot use and I have to convert it to something that can be used. From there, it is making the model usable for CMS, naming the objects according to the modding guide, renaming the materials to the guide as well, and anything else that need to be done.. One of the hardest parts is getting all the faces correct so that when look at in the game, you will actually see what you are supposed to. Other then that, the Modders Q&A thread under the modding forum does a decent job of getting the mod into CMS.
timc2k 15 Jan, 2021 @ 4:18am
ythma, ever thought of making a video on how you did the already made model into cms 18 process? i have a few models i found online with obj files fbx and blend. whats next ? what files do you start with? i kinda figured out the uv process baking and stuff but from there i am clueless
any help would do wonders for some of us

Do you mean in the game locations? If so, you will just have to wait for it to show up as what is available in any location is randomized. The more cars and configs that each car has that you have means more for the game to choose from so the chance of finding a certain one decreases. Be patient, it will show at some point. You can change which cars and config are used by editing the config file removing some or all of the locations. There is a mod program that can do this for you. Here is the link to the discussion for the allowed location editor: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/app/645630/discussions/1/1470841715963184041/
VTX CrumblyTurnip 20 Dec, 2020 @ 2:40pm
@ythma , do you know how to find this car?
Harry the GT king 14 Dec, 2020 @ 4:45am
the urus is lamborghinis suv and its a sucessor to the lm002
ythma  [author] 13 Dec, 2020 @ 3:03pm
I have never heard of it. It still would not hurt to search online for a 3D model of it.Keep in mind, that not all cars have 3D models available online, free or otherwise. If one does not exist, you will have to make it yourself from scratch. If you can get some kind of toy like a Hot Wheels car of it and can scan it in to the computer with a 3D scanner or take pictures of it and then use some software that can create a 3D model using those pictures. You can also create the model using just pictures, but that can be difficult if you have never used a 3D editor before.

i want to make the urus

2) continued
I had to use the program they were formatted for and then convert them to a format that Blender could import. This can be very time consuming to make the model work depending on how complex the model is. The format that I convert them do, when Blender imports them, creates a lot of mesh objects. I have to spend a lot of time going through each mesh to find out what it is so I can rename it to the proper part name. A third way is to buy the 3D model in the format that you can edit with whichever editor you choose to use. This method is probably the least time consuming of all these methods since the model is already been created and all you have to do is remove the objects that the game will add to the car via the game editor.
ythma  [author] 13 Dec, 2020 @ 1:16pm
2) There are several ways to make your own mod cars. One is to scratch build it in a 3D editor. I personally use Blender because it is free and has a lot of functionality as well as a lot of tutorial videos online that will show you how to use Blender. This method is most likely the most time consuming as you will have to create every part of the car by hand. A tablet pad for your computer can make this easier, but it will still take awhile to make the car. Another way, which is the method I use, go online and search for 3D models of the cars you want to make for CMS 2018. Every one of the mods I am doing I found this way. There are several sites that you can download these models for free. The only problem I had was that many of the models I found were in a format that Blender could not import.
ythma  [author] 13 Dec, 2020 @ 1:16pm
@Harry the GT king

1) How many mod cars do you have or moved to the main car folder? The more cars you have, the longer the game takes to load including the editor. Try removing some cars from the workshop and see if it loads faster. To really make it load faster, move the entire workshop folder to a temporary folder so that the workshop folder is empty. Put the car you want to work with into the main car folder. I do this when I am testing a modded car I am needing to find in a hurry.

Harry the GT king 13 Dec, 2020 @ 10:30am
@ythma i do but it takes a while to load and i want to know how to make and add my own cars to the game
ythma  [author] 10 Dec, 2020 @ 6:49pm
@Harry the GT king Do you know how to go in to the editor? All suspension modifications can be made there.
Harry the GT king 10 Dec, 2020 @ 10:12am
can you fix the suspention on the ford bronco and lower it

@ythma all good, what you have done is phenomenal.
ythma  [author] 18 Nov, 2020 @ 3:55am
I have finally done the update with the Coyote badge and logo. I wanted to have a black version of the running boards, but they just did not look right. I also wanted to have different looks for the badge, but that did not quite work either.
ythma  [author] 15 Nov, 2020 @ 9:08pm
I thought I would give everyone an update on my progress. My first solution of adding a texture only to the parts needing the logos and text was not going to work as the material being used is used for other parts of the car and cannot be separated. My next solution was to add the text and logo directly onto the parts in Blender. That has had some success. I have gotten the text to show up on the parts, but the logo is not. This is on the running boards under the doors.I will continue working on this until I can make it work. I have not put the head logo on the front at this time, but that should not cause too much trouble as it is fairly simple.
kyfu 12 Nov, 2020 @ 1:10pm
thank you for making this cool car
Eman 9 Nov, 2020 @ 4:47am
@ythma sounds like a plan.
ythma  [author] 8 Nov, 2020 @ 11:26pm
To all the subscribers to this mod: First off, I want to thank you for making this mod one of the most popular since I released it a month ago. Because of the shape of the car, making the Coyote livery is just not possible for me to do (though if anyone else would like to try their hand at it, I will gladly send them necessary files to do it). Now for the actual purpose of this post. I have thought of a way to add the Coyote logo and such without actually doing a livery. This method will also allow for the logos to still be used no matter what color the car is painted in; while the livery might limit the car to only be in red. I will be working on this change and will update the mod as soon as I get it finished.

I can't wait until you have the Coyote Livery uploaded that will be so awesome
SpitfireThaKing 28 Oct, 2020 @ 7:39pm
Hey Ythma, can you make a custom vehicle or a 1998 Ford F-150 with a camper shell and tuning options
Adam Jensen 26 Oct, 2020 @ 11:06am
Ythma - Thanks dude. Looks great!:steamhappy:
ythma  [author] 24 Oct, 2020 @ 6:54pm
Yes, it is, but this is the original version. The Coyote was based on the Manta Montage which is a clone kit car from this one. Which is why I included the back window that fits in the cross piece on the back. It is not exact, but I made it the easiest way I could. Someday I will have the Coyote Livery uploaded.
Adam Jensen 23 Oct, 2020 @ 2:46pm
Isnt this the car that was in Hardcastle & McCormick? TV show from the 80s?
ythma  [author] 20 Oct, 2020 @ 3:10am
@epik dud Here is a way to see if the lag is due to too many workshop mods, run the game in safe mode making sure you do not have any mod cars in the garage. If the lag is still there, then it is not from the workshop mods and most likely from too many parts in your inventory. The only lag I have is actually loading the game due to the number of mods I currently have installed.
Sandwich Guy 20 Oct, 2020 @ 1:43am
i would really like to subscribe but im scared that my game will be even more unplayable from the lag
SpitfireThaKing 19 Oct, 2020 @ 8:17pm
If it needs Mazda imma just be like: Open mod editor and make it a really high powered v6 ruins the car but atleast I can use it
SpitfireThaKing 19 Oct, 2020 @ 8:17pm
Ok I guess a 787B would work. I MEAN IT IS THE GREATEST ROTARY EVER I like to call it: Dark Dorito Jesus (or the Dorito Devil sometimes)

To all my loyal subscripers: I am sorry that it has taken me so long to reply to your comments but my main computer crashed several days ago and I have just today got it back up and running.
ythma  [author] 17 Oct, 2020 @ 7:59pm
@AFECKINGLEMON I know some of those cars have already been done, though may have been removed by the creator. They can still be found, but I cannot say how in an open forum.
ythma  [author] 17 Oct, 2020 @ 7:57pm
@SpitfiretheKing Both of those cars have already been done and should still be in the workshop. You will have to search for them.
ythma  [author] 17 Oct, 2020 @ 7:55pm
@Normanstr8s As I said in the description, all the dark areas are caused by the shape of the car and cannot be fixed within the game. They look normal in the 3D software I use.
Eman 17 Oct, 2020 @ 8:41am
@jkislow no.

hey can u do a C8 vette and a 2020 to 2017 camaro ZL1 and a camaro SS thanks!
SpitfireThaKing 14 Oct, 2020 @ 7:03pm
@ythma I think you should make a Mclaren F1 GT or a normal F1, I also think you should make a Lamborghini Terzo Millienio (the new 2020 Lamborghini concept) I can find a 3d model or make the best one I can if you want to make these.
DrunkOn_Coffee 14 Oct, 2020 @ 9:17am
idk mech it was awesome. and than i painted it. im not trying to be rude by saying this but it looked liked my kid tried to color it and couldnt stay in between the lines. i beleive it was the resto version and it was choppy and lumpy as heck.

Great job, keep them coming! You can have a glimpse of my config I have done! Again great job!:cms18engine:
ythma  [author] 10 Oct, 2020 @ 11:43am
@DsM VortexJX: There is a 2019 Camaro ZL1 already in the workshop. There was also a 2015 Caramo Z28 done by Svensyn, but he removed all his cars from the workshop. There is a way to find all the cars Svensyn did, but I cannot say how do do it in an open forum.
