you can try but the ship may need some work done first, its a very stable ship, Im working on the New Keltic still, just need to work on giving credits for things Ive used before I can update it
bwg556 9 May, 2024 @ 6:12pm
can we Poseidon it
jamtime2002  [author] 18 Dec, 2023 @ 4:49pm
oh and on the new Keltic, I have improved the engines cooling systems so they shouldn't overheat in 5 minutes anymore
jamtime2002  [author] 18 Dec, 2023 @ 4:48pm
as many of you know, the space update broke MS Keltic so I am building a new improved Keltic, Ive started from scratch so it will take a long time to complete but it is on the workshop and uses the same mods
jamtime2002  [author] 10 Feb, 2023 @ 7:31pm
I still havent figured that out, I just turn off engine overheating
Costa Concordia 7 Feb, 2023 @ 12:00pm
Now it works, thank you very much, but with the engine and gears, I don't get it after 5 minutes, the ship burns down
jamtime2002  [author] 6 Feb, 2023 @ 9:00pm
yeah, try that and please let me know how it goes whether it goes well or not
Serpent [mic-NA] 6 Feb, 2023 @ 2:35pm
OK
jamtime2002  [author] 5 Feb, 2023 @ 11:34pm
I play the game with the following Storm Loader mods
.Bruce
.ilp0tts decoration mod
.More Glass Blocks
.Thales Aviation Parts and Block Overhaul
use all of them and let me know if you have any more issues, and dont forget to press the top 2 fill ballest tank buttons
Costa Concordia 4 Feb, 2023 @ 4:43am
the only question is which Stormloader mods. I have already loaded and activated the ship package window package via the stormloader
Serpent [mic-NA] 3 Feb, 2023 @ 7:09pm
stern is WATER in ship 5 min in bow sink
jamtime2002  [author] 3 Feb, 2023 @ 7:00pm
Thank you for letting me know, I will look into it and see whats wrong, but one thing to note is you need a few Stormloader mods because I used windows and doors from the mods
Costa Concordia 3 Feb, 2023 @ 6:14am
I don't understand it somehow Bug up to the white above under water The stern up to about 75% of the black under water + and water in the ship
Amanda_skies 1 Feb, 2023 @ 4:32pm
im having trouble with the stabalizer fins, the wont come out of their hidey hole :(
jamtime2002  [author] 31 Jan, 2023 @ 12:53pm
oh I also made the ship longer, refurbished it with items from Stormloader mods but I havent uploaded it yet
jamtime2002  [author] 31 Jan, 2023 @ 12:51pm
yeah you need to fill the ballest tanks in the stern, I made it heavier in the bow so that it sits level at full speed but the bellest tanks are numbered 1 to 10, 1 being the forward ballest tank and 10 being the stern ballest tank
Costa Concordia 29 Jan, 2023 @ 3:24pm
For me, the ship always sinks so far that the bow is under water

im overhauling the bridge controls because theyve remained mostly the same since I built this ship, when I update this ship again most of the bridge control and screens will be on the helm control panel, no more engine telegraphs getting in the way and if all goes well I will be able to remove the central panel or make it smaller to allow for more open bridge space, and no I will not be making enclosed bridge wings, maybe on my next ship.
jamtime2002  [author] 29 Jul, 2021 @ 8:12am
im glad you like it, ive been working on a few improvements
nongboii 29 Jul, 2021 @ 12:54am
nice sinking
jamtime2002  [author] 23 Jul, 2021 @ 11:23am
if you have any more issues or still dont understand it please let me know and I can make a Youtube tutorial about MS Keltic
jamtime2002  [author] 23 Jul, 2021 @ 11:17am
set the telegraphs to at least 20 (the freestanding yellow things in the bridge) hold 6 until they make noise, push the toggle buttons on top of the engine telegraphs, use the levers to the left of the helm to increase the clutch, push the gear 2 button for the highest speed.

I can't get the ship to move at all! I try to start the engines but they just keep failing, is there a certain pattern?

your welcome to try sailing Biggus Dickus, I didnt build Biggus Dickus, me ex built it hence the lack of details, effort and the fact that its quite unpopular, personally I hate Biggus Dickus, you could also try the SS Ann which is smaller but still dwarfs AI ships, the SS Ann is the first Stormworks ship I actually built, its an ocean liner unlike MS Keltic which is a cruise ship but MS Keltic is bigger, more stable, more spacious with more amenities and it is also faster than SS Ann. all those things considered out of both of those ships I prefer to sail MS Keltic, I would also advise that if the lag is that much of a problem, spawn MS Keltic far from land and no-clip to it. I have just gotten used to it and learned to work around the lag because I know that my probably 10 year old laptop is not getting any better but if I let the lag bother me too much instead of being used to it, there would be no MS Keltic.

well that is to be expected on a ship that big, I have tried to make it better by using a physics flooder in every unused spaces and using minimal lights but this ship as you probably know has a 100% full interior, that means no corridors with fake doors and large empty spaces like those Titanic or Lusitania replicas, and most ships in the game also only have small areas below sea level to access like a small engine room but my ship has fully decorated and accessible compartments, bottom line the lag is a small price to pay for having a ship this big with every single detail included, I suspect that a lot of the detail on the lower decks is completely missed by those exploring my ship and all the on-board systems that require logic are pretty complex same with the ship as a whole so yeah its going to be taxing on your computer if it isn't a hell of a computer, also I cant help but notice that unlike me you have no ships on the workshop.

I just tested it and it works at low gear it is just slow, I a low gear because before Keltic wouldnt go slower than 6 knots. The ship controls are a bit different to how other players make their ship controls, the propeller clutch buttons on top of the engine telegraphs must be on for the ship to move but with the modular engines started properly they should be powerful enough to get the ship up to 26 knots and it uses less fuel than the old engines at full power as well, that means Keltic should be able to manage a service speed 1 knot faster than Lusitania. It might also be worth mentioning that as much as I tried to minimize it, Keltic causes lots of lag unless you have a hell of a computer, that does make Keltic difficult to control because of the delay in response due to the lag and depending on how bad the lag is Keltic could appear to barely be moving at all

I did overhaul the engines but tried to keep it all the same, try using the arrow keys to use a higher gear
Hylian Knight 30 Mar, 2021 @ 12:17pm
She will not move for me... :/
Retrorobot1938 22 Feb, 2021 @ 7:21am
ok
jamtime2002  [author] 22 Feb, 2021 @ 7:03am
yes it is sinkable, use the lockable buttons on the bridge to breach 4 compartments
Retrorobot1938 22 Feb, 2021 @ 6:14am
sinkable?

there are also light switches in certain rooms apart from the cabins, those areas are behind the bar in the Angel Knives. in the kitchens, in the room behind the bridge, in the crew mess on F deck and there are also light control for the theater behind the stage on B deck. Oh there is also a button above the helm to turn on the revolving spotlights and the angle of those lights is controlled by the keypad next to the button.
nongboii 17 Dec, 2020 @ 5:35pm
nevermind, i found it
nongboii 14 Dec, 2020 @ 11:44pm
where is the light switch?
