I do enjoy good Remakes. So far I've reviewed ones such as Fairfield Terror, No Mercy: Rehab, Reverse No Mercy, and Dark Carnival Remix.
I have more on my list to try, too. So keep an eye out.
will be curious your thoughts on basically "remakes"
like the original stock maps, but, modified in whatever unique ways
for example, my Crescendo Collision Apocalypse or the original one
exactly why i extended the offer, we could learn from each other
you offer great feedback and put in good time and effort
i figured it would also help in playtesting as well... further improvement of maps
offer will always be on the table for you if interested
cheers!
And I appreciate the offer for playtesting maps, but I've already got a lot on my plate currently. Playing Custom Maps and then writing detailed reviews and ratings for each of them takes many, many hours. And thus I can only do it when I have breaks, free time, and the desire to write.
I originally only intended for these reviews to be visible to myself and friends, but ultimately decided to make them public, for the betterment of the L4D2 community, after being positively encouraged to do so.
perhaps you could also help TimeLordMagnums357 and I test new maps
"new" as in ported and/or fixed after being abandoned by the original creators
he's a huge fan of "mashups",
merging and combining multiple maps together into all new campaigns
Preferably good/decent Custom Maps that need more awareness.
I have my own personal list of Custom Maps that I intend to play and review, but it's getting low. Thus I can always use more solid recommendations to add to it.
@Everyone: Appreciate all of the kind words and messages of support. Hopefully everyone can find this Collection useful.
I tried to actually say something of constructive substance for each campaign, as opposed to praising, ranting, or criticizing them arbitrarily.
