yeah I think the film was flight of the phoenix. As to an autopilot it would be handy and ill probably get around to adding one at some point.

I turned on the fuel pumps and started the engines but I don't think they're staying on because when I try to take off it won't lift

have you increased the prop pitch (left side of roof panel) ? Its defaulted to neutral to allow the engines to spin up.

Cant start will not go for some reason.
