@Vylixan The original Twitch toolkit gave "coins" or points to viewers the longer they watched. the viewers could then spend the coins/points on in-game items in the streamer's game. No real money is ever spent. This seems to be just a patch to allow other events to happen not in the original Twitch toolkit.

I think the confution comes from the fact that Twitch toolkit calls its points to spend "coins" and is not actially real money.
