"You can now offer to Pay Ransom for your courtiers, vassals, close family members, dynasty members, lovers, friends, or anyone who is married to a member of your close family or dynasty."
boa_pay_ransom_interaction:0 "Ransom Prisoner"
boa_pay_ransom_interaction_desc:0 "Offer to pay the ransom for an [imprisoned|E] character"
recipient_secondary_boa_pay_ransom_interaction:0 "[prisoner|E]"
do you think that it may be possible to have an option to recrute the prisoner that juast been ransom - as an option not as auto move.
would like to read your thought about it.
I went back to the save I tested in my previous comment and had no issues ransoming relatives.
The update also now lets you combine Gold, Favor and available Hooks to boost the ransom score like in vanilla, and they all seem to work correctly (e.g. rulers outside your realm will have no use for Favors, adding no score). Fantastic job!
Thank you Myrianne for the quick update and for maintaining the mod since launch!
I can provide extra details if needed, but the issue is that the mod isn't adding the positive +50 score that either Gold or Favor add. Like, when you hover over the black box that says "Will Accept / Will not accept", no positive score (e.g. " He gets paid Gold: +50") is added.
I've also noticed a couple of things:
1. the Greed factor seems to completely disappear when you switch from Gold to a Favor. I don't think that's supposed to happen
2. the mod doesn't let you stack positive factors: you either select Gold or a Favor, but can't use both of them for a bigger number which is what you can do via standard ransoms
3. to add to the above, the mod doesn't have the option to use an available Hook to ransom yourself, it's only Gold or Favor
Finally the mod doesn't affect the ability to ransom yourself or your courtiers via the standard Ransom interaction, so I think that part is still working for the AI.
Here some game screenshot images(Pay close attention to Heinrich's gold and Matilda's gold. Matilda's request for Heinrich is also strange.) I used the console for a good example.

Thanks for reading.
There was a bug one version ago that made the mod not work. Try to make sure you've got the most recent version of the mod!
Sorry to leave you all hanging for the past year. Updating a couple of my mods (the Idle Pose) one in particular is a huge pain and takes a lot of time and it really killed my motivation to mod or even play CK3 through 1.6. I'm going to try to keep better up to date from now on, though. Thanks for your patience and I hope you're all still enjoying the mods!
Thanks so much!
There is an issue with ransom_interaction_effect checking if always = scope:extortionate_gold and if always = scope:extortionate_current_gold in lines 36 and 50 respectively.
That's lines 36 and 50 of common/scripted_effects/00_prison_effects.txt.
The reason for the logged error is that the original ransom_interaction uses 'flag = extortionate_gold' and 'flag = extortionate_current_gold', but your BoA_ransom_interaction does not.
@Henry: I added a License portion to the mod desc that should answer your question. Sorry for the late response. It's been a really crazy month and I've been out of town for most of it.
@Raif: I believe that got fixed ages ago! If it's still around please let me know.
@JurgenNW: All my mods should work together and currently none have any dependencies.
@mdoan782: Interesting idea! When I come back and play this more with the new expansion I might think about adding that!
Thank you!
@Myrianne did a wonderful job in creating it. Thank you so much! :)
