Thank you for your kind words. I am currently quite busy with my day and night shift job, leaving me with limited time in my personal life. Sorry. I hope someone who is grateful will take over this mods.
np :)
I forgot about the great 'More Game Rules' mod since I haven't used it in a long time, but as long as it doesn't change the matrilineal marriage rules, it should be fine. If it doesn't work, try placing this mod below the other one so that it loads after the previous mod. Well, since it functions independently of the game rules, the mod should work properly if it is loaded last. The code was likely designed to prevent interference from other game rules. It has been such a long time since I made the mod that I don't remember exactly, but if I recall correctly...
Probably it is.
Sometimes, an unmarried primary heir leaves the court on his own accord and enters into an unreasonable(?) marriage, or the next successor leaves the court and enters into a strange(?) marriage while traveling, and then takes over the primary position after the primary heir dies. Just in case, please confirm once more. I don't have CK3 installed now, but if the problem is serious, I will definitely fix it. Thank you again.
I confirmed it. Will handle it. Thank you. :)
좋자고 정성스럽게 만들어 올린 모드에 비추나 누르고 튀는 한심한 방구석 찌질이들과는 다른 훌륭한 인품의 선생님, 저랑 친구해주시지요. ;)
Thank you for your excellent comments. I've included my responses to user questions below, so I recommend editing the mod if you'd like.
I apologize haven't bought any new DLC yet cuz played CK3 so much that sick of it. That is why I ask for your understanding that it is difficult to respond properly even when a new government type is introduced. Especially in the administrative governments, even granting titles to women doesn't work, and I struggled for days to solve it, but gave up cuz I thought it was a hard-coded part. I think this is the same problem. This mod coded to work in any government except some unplayable type. But the fact that it can't be used means that there is something forcing it in a non-editable part. It will be a tragedy for eternity that I cannot use this in the administrative system.
If you did, then next time

There will also be another 'value <= 4' above '# PENALTIES FOR INCORRECT LINEALITY #', but you must not touch that. You must only change the things under the commented out text.

As various DLCs of CK3 were released, reasons for dynasty collapse became more diverse, so I personally wondered any need to cause AI's dynasty to collapse due to the luck factor(no male heirs). This game doesn't pursue accurate history, and everything revolves around alternate history anyway. Imagine a realm of AI that has grown through longtime hard work in its own way, but collapses due to bad luck. If we really want to pursue real world in a game, we should read books or movies about history. Not playing CK3. It makes me wonder if this obsessive level of historical verisimilitude is really necessary in this fun alternate history game. thank you :D
Sometimes it seems that childrens of rulers don't get married but I think that's on the base game fault, like it happens. A LOT of daugthers are in matrilineality in my game and that's a good thing, like I mean even smaller and not powerful Houses should continue their lineage so it make sense for me. And about the "I or them have only 4 daughters we never get a son" ; yes indeed it happens so it make sense in that way to help AI. What I was pointing out is that if my liege or neighbour have 4 daughter, with the mod the 3 oldest are already married in matrilineality so it's strange, for me, that they don't get one big alliance with the 4th (or having 2 sons 2 daughters, and nevertheless take 2 matrilineality marriages). I don't play at all intrigue into killing 3 kids to get my grandchilds into a throne, but just sometimes marry into the 3rd child and let God(s) decide if I get lucky
I fully agree that setting up a 4th-ranked successor feels a bit excessive. However, when I made this mod, received feedback from many players. The complaint was that in a realm ruled by AI, it is too common for there to be only female heirs down to the fourth generation, that is, all the way up to the great-granddaughters. I also felt that the AI was at a disadvantage compared to human players, and that so defenseless in these adverse conditions that the difficulty level dropped sharply as time went on, making me feel loose, so I made this choice, even if it was a bit excessive. I'm glad to hear that other mod were helpful too. Recently, I heard that there is a problem with AIs not getting married very often because of this mod. My head hurts haha xD
I just find it a bit weird to go as far as the 4th in line (so I understand it goes for both male and female heir) in perspective of gameplay and historic reasons (part of why dynasties had branches and cousins inheriting was because 2nd sons or daugters were married of for alliances without keeping the names of their fathers) BUT the mod work and it's great, my brother then cousin on death married his two daughter in matrilineality and waited to do so, in base game 16 and BOOM you girl get married for alliances.
Btw I just saw you are the author for Female Knight that I use for RP since like 2021 haha so thanks for the mods
As far as I know, it 100% works exactly as it says in the mod description. So, yes. Regardless of gender, anyone who is in the top 4 for succession to any title marries with the appropriate linearity (patrilineal or matrilineal) to be able to inherit their descendants. For all other characters, if they like the other person's proposal, they get married as invitor wish, regardless of patrilineal or matrilineal linearity.
Hey, I struggled with it all day yesterday with Mr.LACTO. Now we've come up with some satisfactory results in our own way. I hope you like it. Thanks for the feedback.
When you turn this mod on, in game rule for marriage will be completely override. But if you still want to follow matrilineal marriage mechanism of this certainly, please set the game rule for matrilineal marriage to 'Never'. Just in case.
I made this so it's not bound by the rules of the game, and still works like that as far as I know.
I've updated it. Sorry for taking so long :D
It's really no problem. Real life takes precedent over games. Don't stress yourself out over it. Get to it if/when you can.
As far as me figuring it out I'm basically ignorant of coding and modding. I'm very much not a good candidate to fix it as I'll likely only break more things and make it worse. ;)
I'm so sorry that I keep breaking promise. I don't think I'll have time to use the computer for a while because I have a situation. Since this mod has a very simple structure, could you temporarily modify and use it? English speakers will be able to modify the mod with text editor more easily than I am. You'll just have to look at the similar parts compared to the vanilla file. You can use your preference such as text editor or Notepad++, and I strongly recommend the "FindInFiles" program, which allows you to search for text content in a folder's file.
I'm so sorry I didn't understand your point last time.
I don't have much time these days. I'm truly sorry. 不祈昔言 and you pointed out that I need to update it. I promise to resolve it by tomorrow. Thank you both.
The bug does seem to be related to this mod. I turned this mod off and it went away. Turning it back on brought it back.
Incidentally I encountered this same bug earlier with the Less Old Wives mod and disabling that mod removed the bug as well.
I'm also now playing games and often have bugs where my character can't marry his/her fiancé due to house feuds. It's not because of this mod. Vanilla has a bug where character never get married for the rest of his/her life, even if after break up marriage because didn't fulfill grand wedding promise. There is no other reason for house feuds without failed grand wedding.
Really? I guess something has changed since it was updated. I'll go over it again. Thank you for your good point.
the feud I said caused by you just because I found your scripted_modifiers for feud(line 1814)is not same as vanilla. when I change it to vanilla , the bug has fixed
