Dracula: "So... You dare challenge me, the great Vlad Dracula Tepes?"
Joke Explainer: "The sign is a subtle joke. The shop is called “Sneed’s Feed & Seed”, where feed and seed both end in the sound “-eed”, thus rhyming with the name of the owner, Sneed. The sign says that the shop was “Formerly Chuck’s”, implying that the two words beginning with “F” and “S” would have ended with “-uck”, rhyming with “Chuck”. So, when Chuck owned the shop-
Dracula: "What? What are you babbling about!?"
Joke Explainer: "The Simpson's is a cartoon that began airing in-"
Dracula: "That's enough of that." *Throws wine glass.*
By some strange oversight somewhere in Rival's code or GML in general, the fact that the blasters are rotated appears not to collide correctly. Forcing my new sprite to use "precise" seems to fix the issue, at least on this case...
(You scared me a bit thinking this was a recent-recent issue because I hadn't touched that at all this update and it's actually been there for a while)
Thanks for the bug report̶̹̾! I'll try to apply it shortly.
I beat Sans a long time ago with Smol Nozomi though so the problem seems to be recent.
I'm not sure there's anything I can do about that, sadly, beyond saying "have you tried re-subscribing?"
(Sorry for the late response)
Was there a particular stage, game mode, opponent, or situation that caused this error?
I can't seem to find the issue you describe, everything looks ok on my end...
I'll have to look into NSPECIAL's behavior, the range seems appropriate (comparing to Jigglypuff), but I made it not interrupt moves in progress. maybe it should? Thanks for letting me know!
A couple of rough thoughts
- That freeze an opponent could go into an iasa window where a neutral a press will cause them to unfreeze and take the smash's normal knockback. If the window is long enough you could choose what part of the arc to launch them in.
- Simpler, the freeze could last longer based on percent, letting you follow with another smash or freeze them offstage for an edgeguard.
I don't mean to imply that more work is needed or anything :) You've done a great job.
The only thing I'd change is a buff on her neutral B
I tried to use it on matches with other players, but it never connected... Maybe by increasing the range of the move?
both the ice and hover mechanics are super fun to play around with, you did an amazing job
I could change the chilled debuff on foes with higher damage, either making it shorter, or being immune for longer after being frozen.
Thanks for the feedback! Much appreciated.
Sometimes when the enemy is at high % I feel like having ice on them is detrimental, because it makes it harder to kill confirm with smashes. What do you think?
*accidentally presses B* oh snow halation I get it
As for DSPECIAL being cancellable only on hit, I was afraid of going too close to multishine territory.
And yes, when I have the time, I'm working on more SiIvaGunner stuff.
Thank you.
the only problem is that shine is only jump-cancellable on hit instead of any time, but that's just a minor nitpick.
