sorry its a old one, not really built to my modern standards, got a few projects in the works atm but ill add updating this it to the to do list. in the mean time simple fix is just to shove somthing they cant see threw behind the walls to block their "view", its not a hard fix just takes alot of trial & error

I'm creating a mission and I am having issues where the AI can target the player through walls and keeps trying to shoot them. Any ideas on a possible fix.

it's not a scenario, it's a composition. you'll find it in the editor, you'll need to press the groups key or F2 then click on the composition icon. the link in the description will show you what those looks like if needed

yea it was designed as a template for just that to work with most factions as lore wise you can find just about anything or any one on one of these. as some of the pics suggest ide like parts clearly "taken over " or "infested" by various factions but right now it's just chaos and IG, but as more assets/ factions become available will be adding more these sections to the bowls of the ship. for instance, id'e like to add ork outposts and genestealer dens. but yea general idea is the deeper you go the more heretical it gets

hey quick question Turfy. i see bolth Imperial and chaos areas.this ship is a combination of bolth Chaos and imperial? kinda like a all around platform to make missions for bolth IG and chaos Boarding? is one level imperial and one level chaos? also i dont need to let you know how a pain in the ass ship boarding compositions are to make. this one is by far the best and detailed one iv seen. THE EMPEROR PROTECTS!!!

Guys if you use Zeus enhanced (you should), you can toggle "lamps" off in a radius which works for all the ships lights and gives a great effect.

Thanks for the reply Turfy, I was able to come up with a solution. I essentially disabled simulation on the assets with the lights and then had a script run to enable simulation in a certain radius (the whole ship) and it's worked. But thanks for the response non the less.

unfortunately all the lights are built into the asset's, with the exception of some of the custom area's I built like the chaos church, cathedral, med bay, ext. it might be possible to disable them with scripts, but the only for sure way i know of would be to remove all hallway and hanger assets and completely redesign it.

Hey Turfy, just wondering if you would happen to know how to disable the lights in the space hulk as I am planning on making a task where my player base has to restart the power. However, the lights automatically turn on when in close proximity of them.

If you have any idea of how I could go about disabling the lights that'd be greatly appreciated.

So I took off all my additional mods and was able to get it to save so now all is left is the arduous task of finding the mod that breaks it

can't say ive ever encountered that bug, sounds like it might be a mod conflict? if not best guess would be to delete chunks outa it till your able to find what assets are causing it

I'm having trouble using this in the Eden Ediitor as whenever I try to save it freezes my game and no matter how long I leave it won't finish saving. I've tried on multiple terrains including virtual and it still won't let me use this in my missions which is a shame because I'd really like to.

no worries, its new for a lot of people right now. you need to click off Terrain Level and Surface snapping before spawning any comp, click the first link in the description, theres a section in the first part in the yellow box that'll show you what the button looks like .

Hey I am very interested in your items but I am very confused when it comes to the Eden Editor. I finally figured out that I had to spawn it instead of it being a map (bear with me I am not smart when it comes to figuring out stuff like this), but when I do spawn and of the items from your composition they always come in completely seperate. Nothing apart of the map is connected to each other so it is just a bunch of pieces floating around in the editor I was wondering if you could help me because maybe I am missing something. Thank you.
