i wonder if this was overlooked because a player crew was in mind when building?
So, big update for The Stoick!
- Fixed the hole causing the Captain's room to flood constantly;
- Probably fixed the issue with the docking hatch not allowing players through
- Reduced the amount of equipment the sub spawns with, should be more balanced now;
- Fixed the mineral scanner
- Set the JBs to 50% by default
- Increased the price to 14.999 - I trusted the suggested price but it was definitely too low
- Fixed the battery lamps
- added amogus
- Updated the sub with some of the new decorations, should be overall prettier in some parts
- Turned the vending machines into actual vending machines
- Fixed the text display on the Memorial Terminal
Again, sorry it took me so long to notice I had unsubscribed from this thread and to fix these bugs.
Not Penny's Boat.
A couple of complaints - there is no battery charger near the airlocks and there is no crate storage for cargo missions despite the ship's size. Both of these faults are tolerable for such a high-quality ship
I checked in the ship editor and "mineral sonar" is not activated in the settings for that terminal.
Hope you update this soon we can use that funktion. Keep up the good work, hope to se more ships from you (Vallhalla Shipyard)
The Stoick is now lighter on the CPU and handles the latest updates better.
- The ship's name is now [VH] The Stoick.
- Added a mineral sonar in Engineering;
- Added weapon holders in armory, since some new weapons can't be stored in cabinets;
- Replaced all doors and hatches with the ones I built for the Iroh - these are less cpu intensive and should work better all around;
- Better lighting all around the ship - as an extra, the ship now gets properly dark when the power is off;
- Better searchlights - they don't jam anymore when trying to switch from one to the other;
- Each class now spawns in its appropriate room;
- Moved all the screwdrivers and wrenches that spawned outside cabinets;
- Some minor graphical fixes around the whole ship;
- Better cabinets for the fabricator and the deconstructor, the UI shouldn't bug out now;
- Rebuilt the waypoints to accomodate the new changes;
I have tested it quite thoroughly, but please tell me if you encounter any bug.
Not sure if this fixes the problems stated by Majestic7. Please tell me if you find something or if this happens keeps happening and in what situations.
It is not constant, though. It seems the sub can't descent or ascent after being thrown around by an endworm or a similar huge monster. The sub can move left and right, but not up or down. Pumps work etc,there are no reasons inside the sub for this. Some sort of collision check bug? Very annoying.
We love the Stoick so it would be very nice to get the bug fixed. :)
