1. don't overload the drive system with too many propellers.
2. design a smooth clutch engagement system that gradually applies force to the prop.
3. keep your boat relatively compact, water drag is an RPS killer.

Been having trouble getting a large engine to work like the one in this boat, any tips? it seems to be only able to do 18 ish rps, despite not rps limiter and a 1:1 gear ratio
