Still works, though it has some odd ideas about what constitutes the anchor block for the grid. Reducing mammoth capital ships into a broken cockpit flying off into the distance in a few blows is a tad silly.

@Jyria From what I can tell, the exploding is coming from the Ship & Station Overhaul mod. Ever still, this doesn't seem to work as intended.

I wonder if you can make this have a config file where instead of no HP from any of the child blocks it has a percent so it does not cause some of the issues I am noticing. Thinking more on this part of the comment I realize this would have to be done very particularly and still work with your point.

On to the issue I notice sometimes enemy ships will become singular blocks and become very hard to hit instead of dying so maybe there could be some implementation that would prevent that at the very least.

Reading this mod I realized the game didn't work the way I wanted it to.

I was beginning to think "Man this block is really hard to destroy" but now I realize why, really excited for this mod

nooooooo this mod was such a great ideaaaaaaa :( :( :( hope you can update it because it would be the perfect addition to your ship overhaul mod, i mean this mod... it would change everything, if im honest this might be one of the greatest mod ideas i have ever seen. (at least for avorion)
ah well... anyway i hope that you are still interested on doing mods for avorion and if you still are that you can take a little time to continue this masterpiece of a mod i send you lots of support because for me, you are one of the best creators (if not the best) this game has <3 <3 <3

I've considered it. I might at some point, but I like to keep them in parts so if one small part breaks it doesn't take down the whole mod with it (in an all-in-one mod). It also gives players more control over how they want to set up their gameplay.

Effectively, my Overhaul mod is slowly pushing me to what you're asking about. I'll eventually combine them into one large mod.

The game has done some updates since I released this. i'll have to look at it again and make sure its working the way it was intended. Thanks for the feedback letting me know there is an issue I'll try and get it fixed soon.

Also some additional testing revealed that this mod was boosting hull and shield counts for enemies for some reason. An identical pirate with this mod in the naonite region on expert had 900k hull and 1.2 million shield. Turning off the mod brought it down to 200k hull and 300k shield (identical pirate). Same could be tested for Swoks, though this wasn't clear if it was just that the first Swoks was Trinium and second was Naonite, but Swoks has 9 million hull and 14 million shields when spawned in the Trinium belt. When spwaned again in the same sector without the mod, he had 1 million hull and 1.5 million shields.

I don't think this mod is working as intended. With this on (and the base overhaul mod), it becomes nearly impossible to break off any part of any ship. This also DOES apply to AI, despite the description saying it doesn't. With this mod on, no part of the AI will break off, and it just sits there without shooting. As a result, the AI drops almost nothing. It'll drop its XSTN artifact, and maybe 2 turrets, not even the guaranteed exotic ones.

Edit: The game recognises the mod but parent blocks are still sharing durability (22.5k HP block taking damage well in excess of several million without breaking).

Game doest seem to recognise this mod under the main menu, is there a specific installation for this?
