There is a temporary fix for 1.5 here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3263239001

Make sure to not have both in the load order; and it's unlikely you'll be able to transition from the temp one to this one when it updates.

@Maistronom Argón is currently reworking his mods for 1.5. From his Patreon:
"First let's talk about the larger projects, Expanded Materials. This mod series is my largest project, and I know I am right now in the middle of a huge process of reworking them all in order to meet the expectations I originally had back when I first released them.

Given all the changes in 1.5 code, and how some of the features that I've worked hard in Argonic Core broke. Reworking the Expanded Materials mod will result a bit delayed."

if anyone goes through with playing with this mod id imagine you shouldnt build any of the 1.5 related structures with the mod materials or your gonna have a bad day.

people are having issues with 1.5? works fine for me, i think someone said the author is rebuilding the mod from the ground up but the only thing you can do is be patient.

Wish there was a temporary fix. Can't start 1.5 without this mod, it's too crucial for me. Big thanks to Argon for the great mods. Hopefully we get an update or a release for the rework soon.

Their patreon page says it's getting reworked. Chances are that the update won't be compatible, even if you get this version to work with 1.5

Author, there is a bug in your mod. The stainless steel item shows that it can be handcrafted using advanced refining tools, but. The item list in the advanced refining machine does not show this stainless steel item, so. Is there a bug that can be fixed?

10 fossil=75 oil and then 10 oil=150 chemfuel, so for every fossil cluster detected you are looking at somewhere between 50k to 80k of chemfuels. bruh this is imba as hell. btw I think the oil extractor is bugged.

@kalofing2 you can use CherryPicker, which will let you remove specific things, and there is also ResourceDictionary which lets you deal with multiple items and either remove them or replace thier spot in a recipe, or even add compatibility so you can have two kinds of iron and use them both for the recipes from all the mods letting you turn iron in to steel

What is primitive cement originally used for? I have Fortifications - Industrial and, with the use of resource dictionary, I have combined concrete so that the variant of this mod is primary, but it seems that i can't build anything other than walls with primitive cement. All stone floors, even basic ones, now require concrete mix.

Any chance we can get Fossils as a mine-able resource like compacted machinery? on your description of fossils you state that tribals like to make decoration and weapons out of fossils but I don't see tribals using industrial extraction technologies to get fossils it just doesn't make sense

I see this was about a month ago so you've probably sorted, but for future reference: OwlChemist's "Mid-saver Saver" mod can help you out. It has a setting called "Generate Missing Mineables" you can switch on to do what it says on the tin.

Remember to turn it off after you've loaded a game with it, or it'll ask you every time you load the save. It's in the mod options.

Having said that, by the description of Chromium above, it's likely Chromium can only be acquired from Deep Drills.

Just a suggestions.. would be really nice to be able to turn steel back into iron at the smelter. Some very niche scenarios (like derelict ship start in SOS2) have plentiful steel but no way to get iron.. which is needed for essential buildings like research benches.

VFE Power advanced batteries use Lead, not Lithium. Seems like it should be Lithium. I changed own mod files, for it to be lithium.

Hi. Just noticed that my game lacks minable chromium, any way to fix it? I have checked Buildings_Natural.xml and there is no mention of it. This might also be the case for fossils.

There is an error in the patch for Fertile Fields. The defName="Terraform_WaterShallow-Sand" is in the wrong PatchOperation. It should be moved to the one that replaces the ingredient 5 crushed rocks with 125 rock powder. (It's currently in the PatchOperation that replaces the product crushed rocks, but the process shallow water --> sand doesn't have any products.)

To add some details, I'm also using VFE Classical and Resource Dictionary to try and use your Bronze over theirs since I personally think it looks nicer, but if I select yours it doesn't appear for anything. If I disable to merging from Resource Dictionary it still doesn't appear but the VFE-C bronze does for weapons and armor and furniture.

I apologize, but there seems to be an issue where I can't use Bronze to make anything. No error is popping up, just not appearing as one of the options to make things such as armor, weapons, or furniture. Trying to go from Stone Age all the way up to Space Age and was hoping to use your Bronze for the next stage in my advancement through the Eras, but having something go wrong. Is it supposed to be useable for a lot of things?

@Haknoes You can use Resource Dictionary to choose the deepchem over dark oil
