I have a question, why does international space program reduce mars Program? Is this a bug? Because I don't understand why (or even how, to be honest) it affects the Mars Program

Could someone make a mod that when you have a surplus and pay of country debt, you can start investing in a variety of different things that gives you certain benefits. For example you could invest in other countries and they pay you interest over time or buy mercs so you don't need to spend money on your own military or anything you can think of. I feel their is little benefit for getting your country out of debt and I would like to see benefits for doing so!

@Meskita it should be compatible with the current version of the game and just about any other mod as well

This mod inspired me to start up a Surviving Mars colony of all things... and ATM I even have the Beyond Earth mystery, which is its own delicious irony.

@Mieszko yeah, I've been trying to hop back on the change log stuff. I sort of neglected it for a bit because I was just trying to get content out during midterms but on the foreign policy mod it's been being updated!

@feelinWitchy Thanks for the info! I know it is a pain (I used to mod myself) but could you keep the change notes page updated after every update? I am really into following your work and seeing the changes would be awesome :) Amazing mods man, you are setting the first blocks on what modding Democracy 4 will look like!

@Mieszko Before the latest update, the "Choose Mars Mission Lead" dilemma would sometimes come up after the first landing or failure had already taken place. Now it should be going beforehand

What did the latest update you uploaded do?

@Fobio24 make sure that you don't cooperate with international organizations or other countries when it comes to space stuff. Having a non-trivial military presence in space is almost required as well. It's mutually exclusive with an International Space Program so go for things that promote the opposite!

This is the best mod for the game currently

With space mining there is an opportunity to add a policy which provides rare earths. I believe such a policy should actually provide a bonus to environment rather than a nerf. The logic being that mining rare earths on earth (lol) is environmentally unsound but if you do it elsewhere that means you dont need to mine the earth as much.

@Rommelthedesertfox the next update is the one that's going to finally be adding the Mars Colonization portion of this. Currently working on the beginning framework of a foreign policy mod, then I'll be coming back to this!

Colonization would be awesome, it would be a nice way to extend the game after you achieve everything on earth.

Excited for the mod, really like the idea of colonizing the solar system.
