maybe try and put this on a massive sub then u can launch it under water great missle by the way its hits the target very good but sometimes it dives under the ship

Radar is pretty finicky in SW, but I just released an update that significantly improved target tracking.

pretty cool missile but i have tried and this thing doesnt seem to hit its target often sometimes just droping in the ocean even though it is within the rang or other times just missing its target and hitting the ocean again

wow impressive guidance system! Fired it a few times and never had a miss, a cool idea would be to get it to initially home to a set of coords, then you could possibly do vertical launch like destroyers. Also another cool idea would be to make a drone/missile with an overheating engine on it, starting boat fires lol, i guess just a substitute before warheads

Make it ramjet powered with either a flare booster or SRBs to bring it up to speed? No only will this increase range and damage but also make it way faster

I haven't tested a ton at short ranges like that, so there may be some bugs to workout. Try to set the Target Distance Mode to short, and manually set the Impact Altitude to 1-4 meters.

Trying to launch this from a dock at a ship 200-500m away it always dips underwater halfway trough and misses, any idea whats going on?

I would also suggest making it so you can change the flight modes on-the-fly using buttons and use an image to lua converter so you can show what all the settings do

Thanks! I have a mockup for one that works pretty well, but figured I'd be better off building the best missile guidance computer and let players redesign things to suit their needs.

For best results, you need to configure the missile's FCU microcontroller drop-down options to suit your target and scenario.

Many updates tonight, vastly improving the flight logic in all areas. Missile will now recover from a steep launch attitude. Continue to seek in cruise phase if no target is detected. The new auto decent attack profile logic is much more accurate, leading to fewer near-misses. Air-to-surface capability is on the feature wishlist.

The ARGAS has been updated with new simplified mode option dropdowns and a new manual terminal guidance impact altitude setting. If the missile is hitting the water under the target, this mode will bypass the auto decent attack profile to a fixed altitude approach, which should help in most situations. Hit me up with any feedback you have.

I tried it 13 times with 3 vessels. I shot at 2 medium and one large boat and it missed. I tried ranges from 600 meters to 1.1 kilometers. I tried the boat slowly moving and stationary but still running. Calm weather and clear line of sight. I was using the creative island dock. I love the concept and would have a LOT of fun with this, but maybe i'm doing something wrong.
