Placard1267: You might want to drop DTG support an e-mail on that, since I believe the UP SD60M should now be available to all that have SH. Worth a try.
DogWithAGlock 24 Jul, 2018 @ 5:42pm
Wish I could play this scenario, but with the SD60M being exclusive to Sherman Hill, (and having Sherman Hill before it was exclusive) I can't play this scenario.

Right as I came to a stop at Victorville Halt, the rest of the train nudged me foward and causes me to fail the scenario. :/ I'm going to need to find a physics mod for the SD60 before I lose my mind. lol

psrancher: Glad you enjoyed the scenario and always appreciate hearing from you, thanks

Another great run with plenty of power for the load. I did have to run this one from 'Build' as it did not show up in the 'Standard' section of the sim. Thanks!

dtsba5: Glad you enjoyed the scenario, thanks much.

Very Nice! I hated SD60Ms. They looked as junkie on the inside as TS has modeled. The fine craftsmen at U.P. welded the radios on the overhead, and there were always burn marks. As always, I appreciate your fine work.
High Iron Simulations  [author] 7 Feb, 2015 @ 1:05pm
richard.spitzer.1967: This scenario is for Cajon Pass and uses some equipment from the Sherman Hill route and the Marias Pass route. It also requires the BNSF/BN SD40-2 DLC and, of course, the UP SD60M DLC. If you have all those items and a getting a missing car message, then you'll need to do a Steam file verify as you are probably missing a few files.
richard.spitzer.1967 7 Feb, 2015 @ 12:55pm
Doesn't work in Sherman Hill, some missing cars! What I can to do with?

maxsdad: Thanks as always, appreciate your comments and support. And yes, I have "shared my thoughts" on the rating problem :)
maxsdad 25 Sep, 2014 @ 6:37pm
Excellent run as usual!!!! I don't like the new menus in TS2015. Makes it hard to give you guys a rating. Have to come to the workshop and search for the scenario to rate it. Have you guys complained to DTG about that? Alot of scenario makers must be fuming that they may not be getting their ratings now.
Thanks again for your work.

For an armchair train driver like yours truly that was, how shall I say it, sublime. Thank you.
derrick706 2 Aug, 2014 @ 11:42am
Yeah. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to take advantage of the big summer sale. Money was tight. I had been wanting the SD60 for a while. So, I chose that one for now. So, now I have to save my money so I can get the M-8 and the P32. Or wait til next year when there's a sale again. There's so much great new DLC that I want. But, just can't do it all at once.
High Iron Simulations  [author] 2 Aug, 2014 @ 7:51am
derrick706: Thanks very much for your comments and sounds like you made an excellent run. The road foreman would be pleased :)

I finally was able to purchase the SD60 and I am very happy I did. This was a great scenario. Getting that heavy train moving was a very large task. You could really feel the power it takes to get it moving. I run this route quite a bit and havve run several scenarios from Barstow and that one signal is always red and I always expect that I have to ask for permission to pass it. So, I maintain my 30mph speed there until I hit tab. Took a bit to get up to track speed. But once I did, I enjoyed that 55mph run. I only had one operational error...one speeding infraction when I had to slow down from 55 to 35 coming into East Vic. I underestimated how long it would take to slow down that heavy train. The infraction was literally a half of a second. So, I don't think I would get in too much trouble for that. But, excellent run. Great AI traffic too. Superb job as always.

A good reminder of the laws of physics: heavy train = more momentum = good test of braking skills. A fun run.
