it doesnt conflict as in generate errors, you will get the warning in the addon's tab but it wont cause any issues. so you can enable both and play normally

Why does this conflict with the L4D2 Boomer version? I find it annoying to decide which campaign to play and then going into my mods to check and uncheck between each version. I hate how special infected models clash with their L4D1 counterparts. I'm sure it's just the fact they use different models but share the sound file and if both mods try to change it they conflict.

sounds like you had game file integrity issues, a 1k texture and a mesh dont do that.

this mod is a walking time bomb LOL the moment i shot the boomer it crashed the game and a full reset to my mods... like my gothic mods are now gone... 2 GB worth no less.... so if you have a full overhaul of the game with mods then avoid this mod unless you have less mods then go ahead.
