Not sure if anyone else if having this happen to them too, but my birkens and nemesis are all attacking nothing but thin air on their turns.

I watched 3 birkins one by one swing at nothing and then end their turn. Over and over?

Question, are the enemies that spawn here supposed to spawn alongside your nemesis mod? Because every time one is in a mission, the other one is too.

Edit: Managed to find information about CIvilians Revamped & this mod, turns out they should work together without issue. Also figured out that Primary Secondaries isn't a hard requirement, which is a relief.
-Keeping this here in-case others have the same questions.

What's the best way to remove the new weapons added to Xcom from this mod? Would this remove the need for "Primary Secondaries" or is that a hard requirement?

You also added the RE7 Umbrella and RE8 BSAA outfits! They are such a great and needed middle ground between 'realistic' COD and 'fantasy' XCOM operators.

Anyone using this with Prototype armoury here is a bridge similar to the the one for the nemesis mod to make items single build

The XComTemplateEditor.ini file. You'll have to figure out the syntax for changing it on your own, though. You can find some documentation for Template Master on iridar's mod page.

which file would I do this on? cuz I can't find the weapon template's startingitem value in iridar's and I need help on both turning the T1 Lightning Hawk and T1 Samurai Edge's from the Nemesis mod into starter weapons.

well I already modded most of my weapons to have stronger stats than vanilla so that wouldn't be much of an issue

@romrojal you could try using iridar's template master to edit the weapon template's StartingItem value to equal true, however the reason I made it not a starting weapon is because its stats are higher than the vanilla counterpart.

Is there a way to make the T1 Lightning Hawk and Only the T1 lightning Hawk available from the get go?, I don't mind doing research for the T2 and T3 variants but it's sort of annoying that there's a chance I don't get the T1 weapon until like maybe mid point if the RNG decides to not spawn birkin until much later, at which point it's already outclassed by other weapons.

works great sop far for some reason i didnt get figuired, it crashes as long as i use the doom 20k16 mod with it, stand alone in LWotc it did great, yet ofc not really balanced from mid to endgame:)

ok, doing an LWotC Campaign, added him and his big younger Brother midway, did alter the inis as menmtionmed, and some Rocket 2.0 tweaking ini, so far it works great(4 fights with em)

He was 2 tiles away, so the reaper didn't reveal. Also forgot to mention there was a non concealed soldier closer to the g1 than my reaper was. But yes, even with all these AI overhauls, the AI is extremely strange.

Not sure how a birkin civilian wouldn't reveal your reaper if they were within swiping range, but this seems like a base-game interaction? The AI tree for the Faceless & Birkin G1 are near identical, if a target is within range he'll try swiping at it. Will keep an eye out for sure, thanks for the report!

Hey, just wanted to share a small bug i experienced today in a retaliation mssion.
A Birkin civilian transformed as normal, and on his turn, he attacked my reaper in concealment. I'm not sure what happened, he was stood 2 tiles away and did an aoe swing right over her, an empty box appeared for "extended information" meaning it failed to grab the details of the attack.
It did no damage and din't reveal her, but just wondering if this is intended behaviour? Love your mods by the way, incredible stuff!

@Ghost sorry that happened! Does this happen consistently for you? I've seen someone else get this issue, and I've tried to reproduce it internally but it doesn't seem to happen for me.

It wasn't consistent with the other user, but i'm curious if this is caused by some soft mod incompatibility. Feel free to send me a steam friend request if you've got any more insights on this! ^^;

This is a great mod, but players be warned - you risk the game locking up if a Birkin gets killed by reaction fire. The game waits for a transformation animation... but it never arrives. Ironman saves beware!

I just saw Birkin in the Modded Beyond Reason playthrough of XCOM2 and it terrified me. Absolutely, absolutely great work making me recoil in horror from a small phone screen.

@Dragonlord Yeah, true primaries should work.

Please note that, currently, the visual weapon attachments for the Lightning Hawk won't work due to a change in WSR. I'm debating on patching it to work with Template Master instead, but updating it would replace everyone's config changes for this mod. :(

@nerddroidcav Absolutely, you can change the MaxCharactersPerGroup in this mod's XComEncounterLists.ini. You can also make spawn weight adjustments or remove it from certain spawn lists, as well.

this might be a result of wonkieness with a better advent but multiple birkins' seem to spawn way too often a bit too often is there a way to only have like only one appear on a mission at a time

At the moment, not quite.

Best you could do is modify the EncounterLists.ini to only include retaliation / terror encounters. Hope that helps!

@Agent Hunk, in short - yes;

Nemesis is very far along in development.
I did do a lot of work with Hunters as a Berserker type enemy, but that one has been side-tracked until I can do something more inspiring with them.
Tyrants / Mr. X would be feasible, but would still take lots of work.

Lickers are unlikely as they would take a lot of difficult animation work to look great & perform well.

Faceless aliens don't turn into G. William Birkin civilians turn into G. As per the changelog, it's a 40% chance on whether you find birkin or a faceless civilian on missions like retaliations.

This mod supports the use of the Lightning Hawk as a primary secondary, it's not a hard requirement / it isn't needed to function. :) enjoy!

No problem, I'm using the mod in a new game and will being seeing if I can get the problem to happen again when a tier 2 variant shows up.
I'm using different mods then when the problem happen but I can tell you the ones I'm using now or the ones I used then if you need

I'm not using the alternative launcher

I think I'll be using this in most my games now. One question, if I don't use primary secondary mod will that break anything.

Great mod tho. There's something beautiful about seeing a sniper dressed up like a stormtrooper running around Hitting people with a pipe and lighting hank

@inyofacecory, thanks for the concise bug report! I tested this internally just now and killed G-stage 1 (tier 2 variant, the one that can transform into G-stage 2) via overwatch and the transformation went off without any troubles & returned to my turn. If you don't mind, I'd love to keep in-touch should the problem persist. Definitely send a steam friend request if that happens! :) I'm always happy to help out.

Also if you're using Alternative Mod Launcher, I believe you can choose to launch the game with red-screens enabled, which allows the game to display most errors (and gameplay hangs) you encounter. If it happens again, & throws up a redscreen error, it'd help my troubleshooting immensely!

Ran into a problem that might be this mod or another that was on at the same time but never ran into the problem with the mods. killed a G-stage 1 with overwatch as it was moving to kill some civs, it then started to turn into a G-stage 2 but froze the animation, didn't spawn any health and wouldn't go back to my turn. i tried giving it time to fix itself but didn't after 10-15 mins of waiting. great mod tho and will be trying it more
