It's one of life's great mysteries, isn't it. Why are we here? I mean, are we the product of... some cosmic coincidence or, is it really a god... watching everything? You know, with a plan for us and stuff. I don't know man, but it keeps me up at night.

Every armor set has the ability to change shoulders and chest via bodygroups

Some armors have different internal names than what you'd see in Halo 3, so the Security armor is instead referred to as 'marathon', and so you'd select 'leftshoulder_mp_marathon' and 'rightshoulder_mp_marathon' from the bodygroups menu on the animation set for the Mark VI model

Hey is there a way to like, swap shoulders between sets of armor? Like change the shoulders on Mark 6 to the shoulders from security?

how do I set the models up in blender colors and textures wise? The leg, body and upper arm textures don't show. I managed to color it but probably incorrectly. I'm new to blender btw

I have the Spartan and Elite models with their bitmap textures as of Season 7 exported from MCC in the AMF format, as well as access to any other MCC models, but don't have the know-how to actually get them imported to SFM and all that. If you're interested in them they can be imported to Blender with a plugin which I can also send.

Hello, i was wondering if i could get the models you used for the porting process? i'm trying to get them into blender/fbx format for a project, and i can't seem to find any info underneath all the stuff about mcc's latest armors. Thanks in advance!

I no longer have a way to obtain the models myself, so i would only be able to add the new MCC features if someone else manages to extract the new models and textures and convert them into some 3D model file type i can import into Blender

These models do not, and will not, have any of the new features from the MCC version of Halo 3, that includes a colorable visor, sorry

Same way you do primary and secondary coloring, but instead of selecting $color or $color2, you select $colortint_base, as shown in the first preview image

These don't have visor colors as i don't really know how visor colors are handled in the MCC version of Halo 3 to be able to accurately replicate it in Source

That's the weird thing about the EOD helmet, the color map says that the white parts are to be partially colored, but they are clearly white in Halo 3, so there must be some shader shenanigans in place to prevent that

Only thing that's off is the eod part of the helmet is supposed to be white regardless of color, other than that nice work.
