Please only use one version of the mod - they would conflict with each other.

This mod shows up in my mods twice. V.1 & V2 ? Are they independent of one another/ Or should I disable V.1 ? I have a conflict leading to a suddenly blank screen and am trying to find it...please advise and Thanks.

Ah. I'm sure I would have noticed if I ever built inland cities XD

@Snaxnwil - No...the yield changes always worked - the fact that the lua file was correctly loaded simply meant that you could build the lighthouse wherever you wanted (coast/lake proximity didn't matter).
Maxnwil 29 Sep, 2014 @ 7:29am
Does that mean that the mod wasn't ever actually on?

One of those do have to happen - it was an error. An updated version has been uploaded.

I was looking through the .modinfo and the .lua file isn't being imported or called in EntryPoints or OnModActivated. I thought one of these had to happen in order for a lua file to work, can you explain?

You should fix the problem where you can build lighthouses in inland cities

Yeah I too can build a lighthouse in my super landlocked desert Petra City. No coast/lake tiles but it is by a river. Again not a huge deal but since its a a desert city I found it amsuing.

Same here. I don't really mind, I just ignore it unless the city is near a sea or lake.
Screenmonkey 20 Feb, 2014 @ 7:05am
I am having the same issue with the Lighthouse and landlocked cities. I am not within 2 tiles of any coast/lake/sea. Completely landlocked. but it is giving me the option to build them.

Thank you, mate, great job.
thecrazyscotsman  [author] 19 Feb, 2014 @ 5:08pm
@gp8456 - do you have coast or ocean within 2 tiles? The included lua file actually is supposed to allow you to build within 2 tiles of a coast.

@viktor - I believe you're referring to farms, which receive food bonuses from Fertilization and Civil Service. Lake tiles don't receive bonuses from those technologies. This will not effect farms, just the lake tile itself.
EaterNuts 19 Feb, 2014 @ 8:51am
Its a good mod but wont it be to OP if it even gives 1 extra food for evry lake tile? A lake tile with fertalization and civil servis will already grant 4 food and with this you whould bost it to 5. But i like that the coust tiles will grant an extra food.
_Georgie_ 18 Feb, 2014 @ 3:16pm
Has anyone else had a lighthouse available to be built in a landlocked city?
QuesoNova 16 Feb, 2014 @ 7:54pm
no i don't have bnw
thecrazyscotsman  [author] 16 Feb, 2014 @ 7:49pm
Huh...do you have both G+K and BNW? As long as you have BNW, it should work with any of the other DLC as well. Anyhow, I'm glad it worked for you!
QuesoNova 16 Feb, 2014 @ 7:40pm
well it stilled worked
thecrazyscotsman  [author] 16 Feb, 2014 @ 5:02pm
@pizarrofamily2010 and Snake - that is correct. This is only compatible with BNW. Sorry :/
Snake 15 Feb, 2014 @ 7:37am
I tried this with G&K. It did not work. Lake Victoria references mess it up.
QuesoNova 14 Feb, 2014 @ 6:44pm
is it compatible with g+k

Do your other mods modify any lua scripting? Have you tried loading this one last?

If all else fails, just delete the lua file in the mod folder. It will prevent you from being able to build the Lighthouse next to freshwater instead of just Coastal tiles, but the yield changes will still be good.

Enabling this mod somehow ruins all my other mods. As soon as I disabled this one, they all started working again.
