It makes warly's last eaten meal after 4 different foods disappear, more info on the config of the mod on the mod page if you are interested in adding this feature

Hello. If I start the game with this mod, then the next time I start the game it won't start. Hangs in the task manager with disk load and does not gain memory.

Hey! Unsure if you's been working on this still, but the mod's recently stopped working for me. UI is still there n' all, food's just not been appearin' in the memory menu no more. (Happened mid-playthrough too, which is odd)

Hi - I'm trying to make my own Warly mod and I'm trying to use this as a learning piece, but I'm struggling. If you'd be willing to check me over I would really appreciate it and hopefully actually get it done! But I know that could be asking for a lot. Either way, thanks for making this, it's awesome.

@Mime I've added an option to change the food timer(Option "Food Timer"). You can just change that if you don't want to do any file changes. Setting currently has times from 4 minutes to 24 minutes.
Referring to the method of "editing the foodmemory.lua", you would just have to find and replace all "TUNING.WARLY_SAME_OLD_COOLDOWN" to the time(in seconds) you would want the food timers to be at.
The method I was referring to was just typing into the console "TUNING.WARLY_SAME_OLD_COOLDOWN = 480", which is easier, but is not very practical as it requires the command to be done each time you join a server or to have a mod do that command, though it does accept any time you input.

@Mime You can change the TUNING.WARLY_SAME_OLD_COOLDOWN to the time you want the timer to be at(in seconds)(eg. TUNING.WARLY_SAME_OLD_COOLDOWN = 480). Note, however, this will change Warly's Food Memory if the command is done non-locally. Let me know if this isn't the way you had in mind.

@Fochive00 Client-side doesn't have the ability to detect whether the player has eaten a food, so I brute-force it. Unfortunately, the short eating animation for non-meat foods(like the Asparagazpacho) are harder to detect. I've upped the valid frame-error for non-meat foods, which might solve the issue.

I do know the playable pets mod works with controllers, because keyboard binds still work. So I could probably just hit V and see the timers on each food, but not "mouse over" them as I can't use my mouse with my controller.

Leave infinite time (do not remove from list)
It would only make sense to use on a non-warly character if the time was infinite, as a curiosity to know what I ate and the amount in 1000 days

@Parusoid While the shards do have seperate IDs, their seeds(Which I don't think is related to the ID) will match up(World seed can be checked via print(TheWorld.meta.seed) in the console). As far as I'm aware, the seeds will differ if the cave or surface were generated with a custom seed via a mod(Such as [API] Gem Core) or through more internal methods. Having several cave shards might also create a difference in world seeds, though I'm not sure if that's the case.

@Parusoid Sounds like something is wrong with the world seeds. Both the surface world seed and cave world seed should match up in vanilla gameplay, which would give the same memory list.

Sometimes when i eat foods that from other mod, it will crush the game. Could you pleas look for it? This mod is soo felpful.

Sometimes foods will disappear from the memory queue early, leading me to think I'm safe to eat them again. This happens most often with meatballs, although I've seen it very rarely with other foods.

Great mod! Essential for anyone who plays Warly.
I was wondering though, if you could add a timer to his spices and other special foods effects (like electrical damage from Volt Goat Chaud-Froid), so you know how much time you've got left. I know the user can just look at the dish that had the spice and subtract 12min from the timer, but would still be a neat addition.

Thought the symbol on the top corner would annoy me at first, but since I downloaded the mod I used it so often that it is good it is so visible. Thanks a lot for it, it really helps so much!

One thing I want to mention: I have no clue why, but for some reasons I have to wait some extra seconds to eat a dish. Happened 2 times that I waited for the timer to end and ate something (about 1-2 seconds after the timer of that dish ended), but Warly would still say "I'd prefer some variety." Does not happen if I wait like 6 seconds more.

Nothing you'd have to look into, as the "workaround" is just waiting for 3-4 seconds more, but wanted to share nonetheless.
And again, thank you a lot, it enhances my Warly-gameplay by a lot! :)

@loopuleasa A queue based system for food memory could be pretty cool. Having it like 5 queue slots, each time Warly eats a dish, a slot gets filled. The more of the same dish is in the slot, the stronger the food penalty is. That way you can be rewarded with full food stats for cycling through 5 or more different dishes and the punishment isn't as harsh if you're cycling through 3-4 different dishes. I think it wouldn't really be a nerf, but more of a fun tweak, which would encourage being a chef more.

At the first (commented) crash I disabled the tile sorting, the second crash happened without it.

@Parusoid Nope. I'm not sure about all the code differences between Don't Starve and Don't Starve Together so I can't really convert it. Furthermore, I don't own Don't Starve, so it would be really difficult to fix bugs that might occur for the mod in Don't Starve. And adding features would be obnoxious for the same reasons.

@Maxi Most of the issues in my mod are due to improper tile sorting(I think some values get lost
or accidentally nil-ified while the tiles are getting sorted?), so I'd recommend disabling the Sort Tiles in the meantime until I fix it. Eating food that isn't in vanilla DST should work fine now in version 1.1.
