@VevaBluWolf Currently there's nothing new. I do plan on doing new citizen packs in the future when time is more available and I'm able to focus, but right now I'm doing renovation work and other tasks in life. Optimally scenario I might can get some new stuff made in the next few months, but no guarantee.

Field Rat  [author] 9 Feb, 2022 @ 10:56pm
@romania I can't guarantee I will be able to in the near future. However, if I do get the chance later then I'd redo everything to make it better and add more variance to cover all types of citizens and jobs. And if I do that, I'd likely be making other mods as well (i'd love to even make a full crazy alien citizen mod and more). Until then, no improvements or other fun until life allows it.

Will you make more of these furlines? (e.g police officers, firefighters and paramedics?)

@Field_Rat Damn wasn't expecting a response, thanks for the info!

@SHOTTHROUGHDAHEART&URTOOLATE Ah, sorry. It is just animal people. Animals on two legs, like what you see in cartoons and animations. No aliens or special events.

In English the ordinary term for them is "anthropomorphic animals". It means animals that stand like humans and do human actions.

im not usa speak really is this a halloween costume event? costume or dress up called?
Field Rat  [author] 30 Apr, 2021 @ 5:25am
@Cobbie I did this entire mod inside Blender alone. Don't be discouraged by the trial and error of trying to get it right in Skylines though. I did this in around 2 or 3 weeks including learning how to do it all.

My biggest hurdle was actually the armature. Your model must abide by the imported skeleton provided to you by the game files itself.

When importing the skeleton into Blender, there’s an option on the right panel called “Use Pre-Post Rotation.” With it checked, you get a correct looking armature. Exporting with this armature breaks the model due to some way Blender reads the file. Importing with that box UNCHECKED gives you a messy armature, but exporting into Skylines it works perfectly fine, provided you weight-painted and did other things correctly. This was a fix I found myself in the “Trial and error” process. I used the first armature as a guide, the second as the actual export.

@SHOTTHROUGHDAHEART&URTOOLATE Well, it could be aliens or perhaps aliens bestowed a technology to this world to uplift creatures to bipedal forms and assume full sentience. Or maybe evolution took it's course. So, I'm not saying it's aliens, but it could be aliens... or the intervention of.... possibly.

(Jokes aside, it's just anthropomporphic animals.)

Im intrigued- what modeler did you use? Ive been trying to make something similar so i could replace the vanilla citizens. Either way, this is amazing and really adds some immersion when building cities 🦊👍
-.- 17 Apr, 2021 @ 1:13pm
is this alien mod?
ApollonDriver 9 Dec, 2020 @ 1:41am
thanks! I really needed this information, because the game generates thousands of citizens and having assets exceeding some limits would be bad. thanks!
Field Rat  [author] 8 Dec, 2020 @ 9:13pm
@ApollonDriver I believe they are roughly around 1k Tris. Some may be more around 800 and others roughly towards 1,200 if I recall correctly for citizens. Complexity of the citizen will make it vary. LODs will be approximately around 80 to 100 or so from what I understood (this number also depends on complexity of the citizen). Mine were a bit double of that, sitting at roughly 2k tris on the models give or take on which citizen it is. I know the game can handle more than that though by looking at other modders out there with mods at 3k or 4k tris for citizens, although I have no idea the true performance impact of this on a large-scale citizen change.

And thanks to everyone complimenting this little mod. It's greatly appreciated!
ApollonDriver 8 Dec, 2020 @ 9:19am
do you know the tris count of vanilla game citizens?

I really Like/Love the humanoid fury animal version of the Citizen, Nice Job! :steamhappy:
Just what the human citizen needs for making new friends and new family with fury citizen. I award you steam points of "Gotta Have It", for making a good humanoid fury version of the Citizen.

Nice mod! It's nice to see more custom cims!
