Don't mind the guy below, to anyone who is interested in this mod, this does in fact, actually work. Even with SFO. I like it since Oxyotl not having stalk as an actual chameleon skink is weird. Tiktaq'to having this makes sense (flying armies let's goo). And for Tehenhauin I'm not too well-versed in his lore, but I mean, if he fights skaven for a living, well, hunts them more like, he's bound to learn some of their tricks, no?

Anyways, thanks for making this mod, man

this mod no longer works

@Gleen Cross I kinda agree, but an early user named Anyron really wanted Tlaqua to have the stalk stance so I added them.
Gleen Cross 3 Feb, 2022 @ 8:09am
I kinda disagree Tlaqua is really a skink focused faction. But regarding the other two, sure, it's undeniable how stalking should be the default stance for them (and Skarsnik, all the wood elves, that DLC Empire hunter that I forget the name, etc)

@Wonderboy
Unfortunately, it's tied to the specific skink factions itself. If you are playing as Hexoatl, Last Defenders, Itza or Nakai's horde. You don't have access to the stance

I'm not getting the Stalking Stance on Oxyotl after recruiting him via the Recruit Defeated Lords mod. Should I put this one above it in the load order?

It is save-game compatible

@MasterOfGrey

I believe this mod should be save-game compatible
MasterOfGrey 18 Jul, 2021 @ 6:23pm
Out of curiosity, is this save-game compatible?

Could this be modified to include Oxyotl's faction? If any lizardmen faction should have stalk its his.

Is it possible to add the stalk stance to the wood elves too by any chance? It just seems appropriate to me.

I love this mod: it's flavorful and fun to use. Thanks for making it!

Hmm, only to let the legendary lords progress in leveling was actually a pretty clever and deserving idea!

@No Special Occasion
Unfortunately. I'm not an expert modder. I just fuck around with a few rows of data tables. I remember trying to trying to mod the level cap for only legendary lords but alrdy was too much for me : /
< blank > 1 Nov, 2020 @ 11:45am
Hmm, should almost have been possible with the legendary lord alone due to 'tactics' but i guess that's impossible to specify in mods.

Eeexcellent. Thank you, Healsgood. And Skarsnik could definitely use this. There hasn't been a Skarsnik with Stalking mod for a long time(the one currently on the workshop still works, it has the same problem that it replaces the normal stance so you can't tell if he has it or not).

Skarsnik with it would be pretty awesome though. And make sense.
Juggernaut_Johnson 31 Oct, 2020 @ 5:16am
can you do one for skarsnik
Dr. Healsgood  [author] 30 Oct, 2020 @ 7:54pm
@The Nega Druid

The earlier version of this mod made stalking as the default stance, where it didn't have the symbol for stalking but it where you marched normally it functioned as the same.

I now updated so now you can toggle between normal stance and stalking. I think it should work (If you see the the screenshot I advertise for this mod) it also shows both stances now.

But if you are still having issues, I might look into it. Maybe combine both mods together?

I dunno
Anyron 30 Oct, 2020 @ 7:12pm
thank you for your work, you did a great job :)
The Nega Druid 30 Oct, 2020 @ 7:10pm
Hm. Question. Any reason why the Stalk wouldn't be there if I have it and your Raid stance mod on at the same time? The raid worked, but the stalk wasn't. Just wondering if they work together or not. Or if its because of a mod conflict on my end.
Dr. Healsgood  [author] 30 Oct, 2020 @ 6:17pm
@Anyron
Added the Tlaqua faction to the ability to stalk as well
Dr. Healsgood  [author] 30 Oct, 2020 @ 4:19pm
To give people more control in the stance, I've made it as an available stance for their lords as opposed to being the default movement for all lords.
Dr. Healsgood  [author] 30 Oct, 2020 @ 2:19pm
@Aganar
it replaces your normal stance
Aganar 30 Oct, 2020 @ 1:59pm
i never played any skaven but i thought this should be movement stance ( as is march, ambush etc..), but i have no stalk stance there

i tried it vanilla with just your mod and i still have nothing there

or maybe i misunderstood you? it changes normal stance to stalk stance?
Dr. Healsgood  [author] 30 Oct, 2020 @ 10:27am
@Aganar
If you're familiar with how skaven armies play, they essentially ambush armies in their normal stance. When you attack another army as the Cult of Sotek, you should be able to see if the ambush is successful or not.
Aganar 30 Oct, 2020 @ 8:06am
its only me or it doesnt work? i have vanilla game ( no sfo ) and i have no aditional stance
Anyron 30 Oct, 2020 @ 7:47am
can you please make same mod for tiktaq'to ? thanks
coltthewarrior 30 Oct, 2020 @ 6:36am
Naggarond bout to be like: "WHERE DID ALL THESE KROXIGORS COME FROM!?!?!?"
funkmonster7 30 Oct, 2020 @ 3:56am
Oh and the Dread Saurian... But good mod nevertheless. :P
funkmonster7 30 Oct, 2020 @ 3:55am
So now, a fat toad on a magical floating chair can ambush on attack too. It must be a new magic spell granted by the Ancient Ones, called "Mass Invisibility". How else do you hide the Carnosaurs and Stegadons, you know... :P
Enemyz 29 Oct, 2020 @ 7:10pm
SFO compatible?
Kragg 27 Oct, 2020 @ 1:29am
I think this is an appropriate boost for the cult of Sotek. Most lizardmen units are more than capable of stalking. Nice work and I look forward to finally playing CultofSotek again. I feel they are too easily overpowered by Skaven in the early - mid game. Maaayybe this is OP but oh well :-D
LCDC 26 Oct, 2020 @ 5:26pm
you do know what that does right? it makes it so you can ambush without sitting still. or at least if your ambush success chance is high enough
Gleen Cross 26 Oct, 2020 @ 4:04am
I wish there is a way to apply this stance only for a specific lord, not the entire army. I do agree Skinks and Goblins should know how to stalk, but to apply this stance for the entire faction is kinda forced. Maybe if it is assigned to a skill, you "unlock" stalking at level 10 or something like that?
