For people who want to adjust stat, go to /#/SteamLibrary/steamapps/workshop/content/333640/2267887785. (333460 is id for coq, 2267887785 is mod id which can be found in the URL). You can also use the search bar at the top right corner of file explorer. Open "Genotype.xml" file with notepad and you can change values like sp gain and mp gain.

would it be possible for this mod to be configurable? the amount of additional skill points per level is incredibly large and i would like to configure it to be the standard 50 before int for mutant and 70 before int for true kin.

It works but if you choose super or ultra mutant you get way more mutation points then you can spend because this mod was made when mutations weren't capped at 10. It also doesint properly give you the starting stats it should but that's probably for the best because you would be absurdly overpowered if that was working correctly.

Preciate it chief, loved this mod but realized it was incredibly redundant since it made it so you couldn't get skill points. Nice to see a fixed version so I can finally us it.

Okay maybe it is the Pregens that's causing the problem, I tried out another mod called Zamuri Wolf that added another genotype (Zamuri Wolf) and it also had the same problems: No access to Pregens, and no access to Summary, and crash upon world-building.

Hello! I'm getting some crashes as well when creating worlds! I've disabled all other mods to see if this was the mod causing the issue, and it seems to be. When creating the character, it seems to skip "Pregens" as well as "Summary". Even when I click on them, I'm not able to access those screens. I don't think pregens really matter that much (at least I HOPE not), but the fact that I'm not able to access the summary screen is really concerning! Then when it's building the world, it just crashes.

I deleted the mod files from the game's saves folder and redownloaded and now it works.

Starting the game with just this mod enabled and it does nothing, none of the genotypes show up.

still getting crashes on worldgen, with references to kyakukyan hunters in my player.log..

Removed the populationtables.xml from the mod, so this should prevent future similar bugs in the future. Go ahead and try now

Having a similar issue, believe it's due to the recent Kyakukya changes.
this mod causes a crash on startup around 2/3rds of the time, and causes a zone building error outside of Kyakukya the remaining third.
looks like it's because the "mushroom gatherer" and "kyakukyan hunter" blueprints are no longer in the game, and this mod references them at some point.
the fix you mentioned in your previous comments may work again here, so please investigate if possible!!

Yep, this is now crashing on the main branch. I've been playing super mutants so long, that I find vanilla almost unplayable... Crashes at world launch, like other players.

Hi, this mod seems to be crashing my game when it generates the world (it was the only mod I had installed). I'm on the latest beta version. Usually it just crashes, but I have gotten it to throw some errors too: "Error generating population:Junk 8", and "Error generating population:Junk 7". I've tried reinstalling both the game and mod, but no luck so far.

Odd. Well glad it's working!

And I thought I had removed the PopulationTable.xml, but may still be there. Since it is identical to base game, it isn't needed. (When I was first updating the original version of this mod, the original author included it so I thought it was needed).

.. Welp. I was just getting everything sorted to send over to you on discord, and the mod worked 100% fine. Everything loaded, the summary page, all of it. I tried multiple random character builds (mutant/true kin) utilizing the mod... everything worked.

I swear to you the other day I was pulling my hair out trying to figure out what was crashing my game, and by removing mods one by one, this mod was the culprit,... and now it's completely fine.

I feel very dumb and am sorry for wasting your time lol. I really wish I understood the under the hood coding mumbojumbo magic stuff that is in these .xml's. It seems "simple" but I dunno. Is there a reason for having the PopulationTable.xml? I was scouring thru it only to discover it is identical to the base game file lol

Either way, thanks again for making and sharing the mod! I feel like the higher/super tier modifications are a nice cushion that feel just right. Like a Caves of Qud on easy, while still permadeath.

Blahhh, I know you just fixed this, but I am getting CTD's on current stable and beta.
I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling both Caves of Qud and the mod.
I can send the player.log, but it looks like the game cannot find the location of 7 villages (?!) and then,
"System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object"
over a long string of stuff regarding embark info.

Damn, I love this mod too.

I also wanted to mention that when building a character, for whatever reason, it will not go to the "Summary" page with this mod enabled? Well.... At least when I build a Truer/Truest Kin Praetorian lol

Updated mod to be compatible with most recent patch. Needed to be re-written to be compatible with the changes to the character creation. Unsure where the pictures come from for the different selections, so high stat variants are same pics. But no functional affect on gameplay.

@01000101, @Bert: Stats should be functioning again.

Let me know if there are any other issues.

Dunno if this is the same for anyone else but regardless of how I assign starting attributes they always revert to the 34~ish values instead of the 50/40/etc. I assign? no other mods active

I'm having trouble on the genotype selection screen, where it will only scroll if I enable the overlay UI (which I personally prefer to keep off). This COULD be a mod interaction, but in case it isn't, a fix would be greatly appreciated. :)
