First video: it's an alternate but accepted solution. I designed it that you use the angled panel and shoot yourself and the cube out, then place it on the button first time. Second time, you have a portal on the floor near the door, and one below you in the adjacent room, then in a constant fling, you replace the cube one by one. In the last part, you cheesed a bit by going on top of the angled panel. But it's quicker that way than redoing a few portals, so I accept that solution. You don't really skip anything.

My video's had the wrong name, sorry about that - should be corrected now.

And to check the rest: intended solution ? If the method of opening the first door is as you intended, I have to thank @jandlml as I’d tried that method before and failed, but they said that is the way they did it, so I went back and tried again.

Is this your intended method for that bit?

Thanks

Nope, mechanics work as intended. That is not the way to do it.

Is this meant to work, or am I doing something wrong ?

Hehehe :) Glad you had fun.

Devilishly hard. The last part with finding a proper place to gain momentum for the cube was probably the most difficult one. It took me really long time to figure it out. I actually did a few things differently than you in in your official video which I found later. I actually thought I need to use the laser cube drop to activate the laser button, so in order to destroy the laser cube, I had to travel by bunny hopping to the switch with portals. Didn't used the ramp and the regular cube, I used the height difference in between the first room and the one with the fake corridor. Then I recreated the whole first part of the map again. . I took me quite a while to place fling the laser cube to touch the button and activate the funnel, at the beginning. In your video it happens on the first try, I needed at least ten or twenty . I'm wondering if this is just your luck, or my lack of luck.
Amazing map with a great usage of the self switching switches

Ah, that ramp. It was meant to simulate a caved in corridor.

Did a little video to show you the ramp. I kept coming back to it trying to figure out how to get up there. After I exited I went back just to see what was up there.

Thanks stormsend :D Glad you were finally able to solve it, and I'm even more thrilled that you love the looks of the map. I spend way more time doing teh design than actually worry about a puzzle. I am kind of in a loss what you mean by the ramp thats partially blocked though. Everything in the map is designed so that there's an easy solution and sometimes multiple hard solutions. You may've tried a hard solution here. I'll try and play some of your maps too, if I can find some free time :D

Awesome puzzle. Really cool looking map too. I've been trying for a long time and got it finally. I'm glad you allowed players to go back without starting over. I did once. The ramp that's partially blocked kept me going back many times. Shame on you. I had a little trouble getting past the fizzler but not bad. I think I was troubled the most trying to find a place to get enough momentum to reach the funnel at the exit. Lot of fun solving this one. You did great man. Thank you. Come visit my humble workshop sometime.

The game allows you to shoot it as long as its briefly off. I couldn't unfortunately make the time longer without compromising the puzzle too much or using hammer.

But if you use the following 2 console commands, you will always shoot through in the first go: portalgun_fire_delay 0.05; portalgun_fire_fire_hold_delay 0.05. (see also in the youtube video. Basically, once set, hold down the fire button and it'll fire like a machine gun. once the cube hits the button, your portal shoots through. You can reset the shooting to portalgun_fire_delay 0.2 and portalgun_fire_fire_hold_delay 0.5.

No matter what I do in the 1st room, the cube doesn't hit the button long enough for me to shoot a portal across the fizzler.
