WARNING! Carry on reading! Or you will die, even if you only looked at the word warning! Once there was a little boy called Joey, he was ten-years-old and he lived in a mental hospital because he posted a crappy copypasta onto a People Playground mod's comment section . He got so bad he went to kill all the staff in the hospital so the Feds decided that best idea was to get rid of him so they set up a special room to kill him, as inhumane as possible. And he sat there in agony for hours until he died. Now every week on the day of his death he returns to the person that reads this letter, on a monday night at 12:00 a.m. He creeps into your room and kills you slowly, by pegging you and watching you bleed to death. Now send this to ten other profiles on this one site, and he will haunt someone else who doesn't. This isn't fake. apparently if u copy and paste this to ten comments in the next ten minutes nothing will happen

@Interficere, No if you see below in a comment by a person called leteo39, there is a link to another version of this mod, fair warning however, the new version of the mod has yet to be updated to the current state of HoI4, but leteo39 is soldiering on in that regard.
Interficere 31 Oct, 2022 @ 1:00pm
Is it gonna be updated?

I suggest giving heavy cruiser guns a some amount of light attack and light piercing to make them more effective at destroying light cruisers.
Warmaster Horus 28 Jun, 2022 @ 11:51pm
@leteo39 We would very much appreciate your contribution to this mod, also I pretty much only play Germany as well.
leteo39 28 Jun, 2022 @ 10:54pm
Already fixed the UK tank and trains problem, and the Yugoslavian OOB, I also noticed that Turkey does indeed have it's new focus tree so that didn't need any meddling... I'll try to fix the new advisor and trait system tomorrow... please remind me of any other problems...
leteo39 28 Jun, 2022 @ 9:40pm
Seriously thinking about updating this mod myself... I can't really play HOI IV with the atrocious naval designs from Vanilla, so I'd really appreciate that you people tell me about all the bugs, because I honestly only play Germany, so IDK about the bugs from other nations except some I remember from comments such as UK not having some templates and not having trains researched? turkey not having it's new national focus tree, and Yugoslavia not having any units at the beginning of the game... so please let me know so I can pump myself up to fixing all that stuff so we can all enjoy some real naval gameplay...
Zeniarmor 8 Jun, 2022 @ 11:25am
With the upcoming MTG update patch Will this mod be updating? I freaking love it!
Enola_Straight 24 Apr, 2022 @ 9:46am
That's my guess at least. I managed to restore the ability to assign admirals as advisors by copying files from the original game folder and replacing the ones in the mod's folder.
Enola_Straight 24 Apr, 2022 @ 9:44am
By the way, the reason why it's impossible to assign admirals and generals as advisors is because author either didn't copy some lines from 00_traits (common/unit_leader) or didn't copy other files from that folder.
Enola_Straight 24 Apr, 2022 @ 4:50am
It's probably not going to happen in the near future but i think that British 4.5 inch guns should be in 115-135 mm category rather than 90-115 mm because they had a rather heavy shell (actually, heavier than in 4.7 inch Mk IX guns, which belong in 115-135 mm category in game). Also, it will make it possible to recreate some Dido-class cruisers (the HMS Scylla and HMS Charybdis respecively)
Enola_Straight 16 Apr, 2022 @ 2:18pm
Also, the UK doesn't have any trains researched at the start of the game
Enola_Straight 13 Apr, 2022 @ 2:22am
I suggest giving UK basic heavy torpedoes since they actually had 622 mm torpedoes and even used them on HMS Rodney against Bismarck
Nihilist-Saint 8 Apr, 2022 @ 11:03pm
It appear the scroll bar issue is a NSB issue, never had it till NSB, and now all modded scroll bars are bugged.
Zeniarmor 30 Mar, 2022 @ 11:17am
There is no more scrollbar when selecting Gun Caliber and layout, will this be fixed?

leteo39 10 Feb, 2022 @ 4:23pm
I you must be busy with real life stuff, but an update fixing the officer corps part to assign new advisors from generals would be great, also I have a couple of suggestions:

In order to have the spotter planes actually be useful and viable I suggest adding a heavy attack modifier, similar to fire control. that way I'm not just driven to get my capital ships full of AAA but also diverting resources into a spotter plane which also reduces speed and makes you reach a compromise between price/effectiveness given how engines are terribly expensive! (and I can't abide my BB's not being at least 30 knots fast)
Warmaster Horus 9 Feb, 2022 @ 7:20pm
@HARDKOR KROKODAJL no just this mod.

I noticed that you added specific ASW groups to aircraft carriers, nice.
Enola_Straight 5 Feb, 2022 @ 8:24am
I noticed that the anti-aircraft machineguns on submarines give no AA bonus at all, which makes them useless at protecting submarine from planes.
RenMax_Fake 4 Feb, 2022 @ 5:02am
Also - second thing I have noticed - this may be a NSB-specific thing, but designer modifiers now apply to designs they update, and are no longer permanent. Personally I really don't like this. I want my escort fleet designer in play when I make my destroyers, my capital ship designer active when I research my battleships, and my pacific fleet designer active when I make my carriers. This requires delaying research some while you save up the pp to make the switch, but it's a price worth paying. I really really don't want my escort fleet designer replacing my capital ship designer every time I want to update the Yamato. I can fix this of course by just temporarily swapping out designers every time I upgrade to pretend that it's still permanent and using the console command for pp, so it's fine, but if other people want naval designers to be permanent too (tank designers being fungible I am fine with) is this a doable change?
RenMax_Fake 4 Feb, 2022 @ 5:02am
@NiciBozz, not sure what's going on here, and I hope this is just a me thing, but the current version of the mod doesn't seem to load? I tried making a playlist with just this mod and when I start the game with it, I get vanilla. No hint of NRM being a thing. Weird. I followed somebody else's advice earlier, made a copy of your mod but with the NSB terrain files substituted in, and that worked like a charm. I presume there are no floating harbors, which might be a problem down the road, and the general definitely can't add or modify advisor traits, but honestly that's fine. I still get to make my beautiful, beautiful fleets so I'm happy as a clam.
RenMax_Fake 4 Feb, 2022 @ 4:52am
@HMS_Unicorn tag switching (unless you are UK) and console commands ("xp [number]") can fix that very quickly. It is good to know though! I'll try to remember to give them some designs when I start. I have seen the British AI make its own designs though.
Enola_Straight 28 Jan, 2022 @ 2:24pm
Also, it seems that United Kingdom lacks tank designs on hte start of the game. Other countries, as far as i can tell, do not have this problem. It's the only enabled mod that changes technologies, so i think that the problem is with this mod.
Enola_Straight 28 Jan, 2022 @ 7:33am
RenMax_Fake thanks for the information
RenMax_Fake 28 Jan, 2022 @ 7:26am
(2/2) (use add_equipment command to make up some of the shortfall so the ai isn't too handicapped, something like "add_equipment 2000 Panzer IV" or whatever you want, just remember that the equipment command is case and punctuation sensitive - copy the spelling exactly) and your games will be so much more fun. You won't just be clubbing outdated super-dreadnoughts and steamrolling wave after wave of German infantry with your tanks and wondering where the hell this "blitzkrieg" thing is supposed to be. I really wish there was a mod that balanced ai production better (so that they wouldn't have +900,000 infantry equipment and -4,000 medium tanks in late game) but I bet earlier interventions with forcing them to add more armor divisions would help.
RenMax_Fake 28 Jan, 2022 @ 7:25am
(1/2) For anyone that's interested, I have improved my games massively by tag switching in as my enemies, building their historical (or better) capital ships as well as a bunch of tank divisions and deploying them through the instant training command. Just make sure to disable ai for your country before you tag switch (command is "ai tag"; ie sov/ger/eng/usa depending on what your tag is - if you don't do this and the ai runs your country for even a second unpaused, it will ruin more or less literally everything and you will have to load the autosave), then build a bunch of good capital ships, train tank divisions so the ai is forced to start producing more tanks, edit its division templates to use AT and get better piercing,
RenMax_Fake 28 Jan, 2022 @ 7:23am
HMS_Unicorn if you want to solve that problem you can bypass the focus through the console command focus.ignoreprerequisites as above, then if you really want to get the cruisers yourself you can design them as realistically as possible according to their IRL specs, and either build them normally or use the instant training console command (it) to do them as if they had come through a focus. If you aren't familiar with it, it will instantly train and deploy any divisions you happen to have as well as all ships under construction. But if you time it so that you don't have (m)any, it shouldn't be too much of a cheat. And you can buff the AI in similar ways as compensation.
RenMax_Fake 28 Jan, 2022 @ 7:23am
@NiciBozz. Thank you. So much. You have given me my game back. I missed Naval Rework very much. That hole in my heart (of iron ha ha. ha. ha.) is now filled!

I haven't gotten there yet but was wondering if you did anything to the NSB focuses that get you Borodino-class BCs or Sovetskiy Soyuz BBs. If not that is not a problem, I will just manually bypass through focus.ignoreprerequisites. And, quite frankly, while I am curious as to what the Borodinos would look like, I would rather design my own Sovetskiy Soyuz anyway.
Enola_Straight 28 Jan, 2022 @ 3:42am
I noticed that the cruisers HMS Leander and HMS Achilles, that you can get by completing a focus as New Zealand have problems because they are made in vanilla ship construction menu.

Enola_Straight 27 Jan, 2022 @ 3:58am
Also, the work on equpment names could be started by giving British Commonwealth countries equipment names from United Kingdom since they usually didn't use their own naval guns and other types of naval equpment. This shouldn't require additional research, in my opinion. Might be mistaken though.
Царь Николай 2 25 Jan, 2022 @ 5:43am
The developer of this mod refused to update it, so it will no longer be optional.
