Thanks i'm trying to get better at the editor (this was second level ever), at the moment the barry's timeline is oxymoron, retrieval and extraction, extraction being the last one.
i will work to end this little saga adding the two last installments on which i'm working on.

it was a great level, tho i felt there were a LOT of idle enemies that hurt the pacing, maybe thats just me tho. Also does retrieve take place before or after this level? thank you and great work!

This was a wildride mate. Spent at least 30 mins on the level, but it was quite fun actually. I liked the story within, but there are some things that made it a little bit difficult to finish like, a lot of enemies just in a single place and not enough bullets to shoot em all, but I indeed like it, you did a great job. :sticky:

Ok i'm really glad you explained.
i get your critique with unreachable enemies, but i really like them i consider them dodgers but you need a gun to kill them, but in the future i will reduce their number if they are bad level design.
Ok i guess it is very difficult to create chaotic levels if I will do another level in the future i'll create a more clean level, miami menace style.

as for the visuals, your use of tiles (flooring) is good. my issue is with all the trash scattered everywhere. although i get what you were going for, it isn't very appealing to look at. at worst, it messes with the player's movement in certain cases, which is never good. look back at levels from the base game and see how decorative items are used quite sparingly. keep in mind that this is my personal preference however.

unreachable enemies are objectively bad. they only serve to waste a player's ammo and time, as they'll have to find a loaded gun to deal with them. they also don't pursue the player, making for very uninteractive gameplay. another issue is that it can potentially soft-lock a level, preventing a player from being able to continue unless they restart the level or intentionally kill themselves. at least remove some of the obstacles around them so that they can chase after the player or be killed with melee weapons.

So about idle enemies i replayed the level and i noticed what you were saying: there 2 or 3 idle enemies that do not react, in the future i'll reduce their number.
Unreachable enemies i think that is more a taste thing, i really like them you don't, but i'll admit there are too much of them.
About visuals i'm interested to know what is bad and what is good.

this was unfortunately not very good. there's a lot of issues with enemy placement. placing idle enemies too close to walls will make them not see the player, which occurs extremely frequently here. there's also way too many idle enemies that serve no purpose other than extending the level and are not interactive at all. also, avoid placing enemies in unreachable spots, as it makes for bad gameplay. the visuals were serviceable at most.
