not sure why but there's errors and missing textures almost everywhere

i have a lot of texture prblm maybe its me but i can't play it xd

actually, one of the best maps ever on gmod, THIS is horror and great silent hill fan map 10/10

I loved this map and almost cried when it ended. the atmosphere is amazing, the feelings of unease are thrilling, and it really takes GMod "horror" and throws it off a cliff to make room for true moments of terror. I wish there were more maps with Silent Hill-styled gameplay like this. ones that focus on level design, don't rely on cheap jumpscares to be "scary," and with excellent soundtracks to listen to.

Just perfect. I'm glad theres no much jumpscare only atmosphere. And honestly Atmosphere enough for makeing me run.

Pressing e does not do anything on this map. I am using the game mode, but all it does is make a click sound and nothing happens.

As someone who loves silent hill as a series, this was an amazing little map to play through!! Definitely recommend this to most if not all silent hill fans

@empty7up I'm afraid it's only made with singleplayer in mind, the map relies on teleporters and triggers that will break with multiple players.

i noticed it says single player, may i ask whwt would happen if i were to attempt to play multiplayer? couple of friends wanted to play this, so i’m trying to figure out if it’s just meant for single player but will function with more ppl or if it’ll break our games?

why i cant open the map

An impressive map for Garry's Mod, which captures the Silent Hill vibe nicely, It has some neat detective and exploration gameplay with an interesting plot that leaves you satisfied in the end; secrets and alternate endings give it a dash of replayability. I wish it had something in terms of puzzles, but I understand that kind of stuff is probably hard to get working, and I still loved it regardless.

I was wondering why the skybox was neon green, but it turns out I had FPS Saving Fog on from a previous session(and set to the color green... for some reason), so make sure you don't make a similar mistake by leaving any unnecessary mods on before playing.

good map, wish there was more to it in terms of gameplay though

@Kashino Thank you! I really appreciate seeing people upload their sessions playing through it, it's incredibly rewarding and it's been really, really fascinating to see which parts work for different people! I'm glad you enjoyed SH:Condo! :)

Also, I do hope SH: Condo does eventually get updated one day, but if it never does I am ok with it, but I think it's definitely in my top 5 favourite GMod maps of all times at this point, tons of work put into it for sure. It is also definitely my number one favourite story map in general too, tried a few others but none really have the amount of effort this one has that I know of.

@Kashino Probably not, there are some things in the story I'd like to explore more but doing a fan project like this gets a little restrictive as you go through. I'm more keen to do an original horror game in Godot or something like that and do something that's my own story. But never say never! I don't think it's out of the question that I might update SH: Condo with more content some day, and I want to release the source files at some point too if there's any interest in that.
