Might be a bit of an issue with some of the uniforms, the wz2012 uniforms appear to be working fine, but all the others seem to be a bit broken, and only the wz2006 booniehats appear to be working.

Feature not a bug tm. in the real world tiny countries like Livonia usually can't afford or justify operating attack aircraft, they rely on their bigger allies for air power. Just run transports for utility use.

Are the pylons on the Mi-171 intentionally disabled? Would it be possible to make them functional, or would it go against the original idea?

I never configured desert camouflage units, I only added the uniform and helmet. but I guess I could add some. my CSAT mod has extra camouflage infantry variants so why not.

yeah I put the (EWR) in brackets so the factions would show at the top of the list and make it easier to find them, but it actually makes it harder because you normally scroll down the list not up :^(

Scratch that, it works and my apologies. The issue was the faction name copied from a unit via right-click > Log is in all caps, but the faction name that must be passed to ALiVE needs a lowercase "ws_" prefix.

Similar to incorrect_syntax, I also didn't have success using the LDF and AAF with ALiVE but the FIA and CSAT factions spawned just fine. I don't suppose you know what the issue is? FWIW I really like the look of this, GM assets don't get enough love.

sadly, I do not have any plans to use the new GM G36. its an excellent model, but I've already made a G36 for the LDF and there's really no reason to replace them. a few other things from the GM update may be making their way into the addon however.

maybe the AI wont switch because there's no ammo until you reload the launcher. Best way to test would be to command them to reload with the launchers.

with the next update to this mod I'd definitely like to give the LDF better anti-tank capabilities. in my head canon, as a NATO member livonia would just lean on other countries to kill tanks, but they are truly disadvantaged to an unacceptable level, especially if they don't even use the scant few AT launchers they have, lol.

specifically the M136? I reckon that's related to the cost value then, a parameter defined in an ammunition's config. it determines how likely the AI is to actually use an ammunition type, and in turn the weapon firing it. RHS probably set the cost on the actual rocket the M136 fires to something ridiculous so AI wouldn't go rogue with a single-use launcher like that. the easiest solution would probably be to just use something else, there's a whole hierarchy of things I would have to rewrite to make a clone of the AT4 that AI would actually use. I'll look at giving them something else, maybe the M72 LAW coming in the next GM update.

Alternatively, perhaps RHS does something different with their M136 infantry when spawned, could take a look at that.
Just tried to give an RHS M136 rifleman an At4 through the virtual arsenal, he did nothing. Definitely something run on the infantry when spawned.

Alright, did some more digging with regards to the castrated LDF AT infantry, it seems that giving any of the infantry (including AT specialists) an AT-4 will result in the AI simply not using the AT-4.
This problem seems to affect all infantry that are not "Riflemen (M136)"
I'm thinking that RHS may have some script that they use uniquely for the AT4 on their US M136 riflemen, you could try asking them for some help?

Hey Griz, something seems to be wrong with the cfg groups for both LDF and AAF. It doesn't seem to work with AlIVE, The CSAT and FIA work just fine.

This is my second time saying this, the LDF 2015 AT Riflemen do not act like AT riflemen. They will not shoot at tanks, they will not use their AT4. They are not classified as an AT riflemen like the AT specialists are, the green circle that is the unit icon does not show the 2 arrows, it is solid.
I have yet to get a response on whether this is intentional or not.

It was a bad install. no other mods were running besides required ones and GM was running. Reinstalled and the problem seems to have sorted itself out :steamhappy:

The Anti-tank Riflemen in each squad don't use their launcher and act like regular riflemen. In fact, aside from Team and Squad leaders + Autoriflemen, none of the infantry act any different from each other. They're all act like plain riflemen.
If this could be changed, I'd love to see it happen.

Oh, that makes more sense for a small Baltic military. I was basing them more off the Polish, so they had some BMPs and BTRs and old Leopards and T-55s. I like the GM assets mixed with the plate carriers, makes them look like they're going through a modernization effort.
