I've used alot of third party models and they have worked fine

Now i see the custom addons was deleted while the l4d managing addons. Seems like the game treat outside model as some sort of the untrusted program. Have u seen anything like that?

That has never happened before with me. The only problem with vpks I had was when they conflicted

Best not to upload to steam and not sure why it autodeletes.

Hey, question about the model. I downloaded the original mod and put the vpk file under addons, which i believe is the right location. The thing is wheni load the game, for some reason the model was auto deleted. Do you know why? Or can I simply upload the vpk file to steam and make it private so that i could avoid copy rights and only use it for my own game?
